I have a tigor ev..bought 2021 December..now getting 240-250 with full AC normal drive and 280 around with limited AC (switching off after some time in between drive) in driver only travel. Very detailed review 👍

⚠️ CORRECTION ⚠️ 3 Years Unlimited km Warranty on Vehicle (other than HV Battery) applicable for Private registration only. The warranty coverage for 12V battery, tyres is valid for 1 Year, while for infotainment system is valid for 3 Years. Refer Owner’s Manual for more information. 3 Labour Free Services is for first 3 scheduled services

Points to note 1. Lifetime battery warranty is only for the 1st owner (15 years). Natural degradation is excluded. 2. Windsor's price will increase in January. 3. Free fast charging is only available to vehicles delivered within December 31st.

People who own EV know the problems of external charging stations...it shows in map, when you reach there either there is no station or damaged or it does not charge..... And given Windsor's 250kms actual range...people within Kerala may be ok...but still a risky affair...

52:12 Specs വെച്ച് നോക്കിയാൽ value for money may be Nexon ആകും. എന്നാല് TATA യുടെ ഇതുവരെ ഉള്ള reliability, comparatively less space, battery warranty ഒക്കെ ആണ് Windsor -ne attractive ആകുന്നത്. I am not having enough reasons to recommend TATA to someone.

As another ev user from tata. I agree 👍. Tata " policies and hidden things involved a s especially the service centers issue adding top of the unreliability of the Bms is a big downside in present times. Existing users even though like the car to its core , the policy and basic quality issues like base cover for a accuator portion is still unresolved for even new nexon 45 models itself shows how tata isn't ready to reform even when many people have suggested this from nexon 1.0 itself.

The dealer is pushing me for taking the MG provided insurance. 2) Are we getting any documents to support the life time battery warranty 3) vehicle warranty + extended warranty= 5 years, right? 4) what is RSA, protect plan and buyback plan

1. United India insurance. Due to the high demand, they are giving priority to the customers who are ready to take insurance from the dealership, finance, and accessories from the dealership. 2. Warranty details are there in the user manual. 3. Yes 4. RSA - Roadside assistance, buyback is like, MG will buy the vehicle back after 3 years and give you up to 60% of the cost. I think protect plan is like an annual maintenance or something.

Technology will get better day by day. You can only buy something that is available in the market at that moment, right ? Atm, Windsor has created a revolution in the industry with their lifetime battery warranty. Let's see how other brands respond.

@@Sher-jq2sd evs are relatively new compare to ICE engines where the advancement is almost in its peak. Hence the depreciation will be prdictable unlike evs. It will be a challenge if you wish to upgrade in some time with any upcoming long ranges. Its a great time any way for us. Happy motoring.

@NadeemLatheef Agree. compare the the current competitor they have done a good job. As far as the unlimited warranty, I think it is a marketing buzz word to get buyers attention with T&C. The car is by the way very spacious and well built. Congrat any way. Enjoy your drive.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the car. Could you also please help with understanding the insurance cost difference per year between Windsor EV mid variant and a similarly priced ICE car.

For EVs the cost is comparatively high. It could be because they are more susceptible to fire incidents and also, we need to add all the coverages including battery, motor protect etc. I am not sure.

@@NadeemLatheefthank you for the reply. I was curious to understand the overall expenses one would have to bear on an annual basis. Whether the advantage of a low service cost on an EV over an ICE car is wiped out by the insurance premium difference.

Insurance premium depends on the coverages. If you take all the coverages, you can get the insurance for around 40k from United India or New India.
