Of course, these books are all so subjective to me as a reader so just because I didn't like it doesn't mean it's bad!

The Secret History is also one of my favourites, I will definitely re-read but not for a couple of years I think. I know what you mean about it not being the right time for particular books. About 20 years ago I tried, several times, to read Generation X, I wanted to read it so much but I just couldn't get into it. I think I will try it again and see if now is the time! Would love a favourites of all time video 🙏 X

The Secret History by Donna Tartt is one of my favourite books of all time. Definitely going to take recommendations from you as seems we have v similar taste! xx

Every year I say no more books and then I find myself in a bookshop on payday 😂 but agreed the booktok buying has gotten so out of hand!

@charlotte.michelle you're my inspiration! Even those 99p Kindle deals catch me every month! Also, I'm not sure you'll like Dark Matter the series 👀 I adored the book and the first few episodes are great but it loses it by the end.

Just finished Dark Matter the TV show. It's alright, definitely not as good as the book but not upsettingly bad (Girl with the pearl earring anyone...) xx
