Your first three lenses are def the best options right now for X mount... The 16 has a certain something in the images in terms of color with less vignette wide open, but the viltrox has been great too. I just want some options like this for GFX and astro/night sky

Great video! I'm a Fujifilm user too :) Got the Samyang 12mm f/2 by your recommendation from earlier videos. Though I still haven't had the chance to do proper night sky captures...

I use my Fujinon 10-24mm, mounted on a tracker I've found fast aperture isn't so important, typically having 4/8 minute exposures for Milky Way shots

I’ve been using the Fuji 8-16mm for Milky Way shots on the MSM tracker. It’s a great lens but I’m finding I probably get away with the movement because it’s so wide. I think the XT-3 and the heavy 8-16mm is probably too much for the MSM. I recently tried some deep space with the 55-200mm on the MSM and it really struggled and it weighs the same as the 8-16mm.

Hi Mathew, great video on the gear you use. I would be very interested in seeing a video on the way you edit you milky way images. Which editing programs you use and your way of using them. Thanks and keep the videos coming.

What about Fuji 18mm F1.4 for astro landscapes?

I use the X-T1 and am considering the Tamron 17-70mm. Does it work well with the X-T1? The compatibility list on Tamron website did not list the X-T1.
