My Modification To Some LED Pathway Lights from Costco

I recently purchased some Tommy Bahama LED Pathway Lights from Costco for about $50. They come with stakes to stick them in the grass, but I hate to pull them out to mow. I made a small modification creating a weighted bottom using pea gravel and some vegetable cans. Now I can place them on concrete and not worry about the wind knocking them over.

You could get screws for cement and screw can on the wall also but great thanks for sharing

True I could do that, but over time the tin cams will rust and then I'll have to switch them out

I used the three fixings in the bottom of the original base unit like it explains in the instructions

Ya you may have to fill it with lead tire weights or concrete haha.

Did the lights get blown over very often? How are they holding up? Thanks!

Only if the wind blows like super hard during a storm, but they do fine during a normal breeze. One thing I need to do is replace my duct tape on the cans because the weather is causing it to come apart

@NorCalZone appreciate it. Honestly I couldn't tell ya, I an usually asleep by the time the lights are out of juice, but they stay on for a good while
