My mom disliked cats, even jump away when their fur touches her. But when one day she had to visit my aunts house and she had several cats, there's 1 cat that is always friendly around others and began to always stay by her side. She fell in love and decided to bring the cat over to our house for 2 months. After that, she really misses her but she knows she can't take care her, neither can I lol now she's more open to cats. Just a lesson, you will never be a cat person unless you take care of one

I'm the exception to that rule. I didn't have to take care of a cat to become a cat person. From my first childhood encounter with a cat, it was instant love for me. But I have seen many people swear they hate cats who ended up with one for various reasons, only to fall crazy in love. I have lost count of those.

Same with my mum:’) was able to change my dads mind because he didn’t really think bad of them, he just didn’t want one in the house even tho I’d been asking for YEARS, but my mum, never. This one time we rescued a kitten and kept her for a few days before she went on with her life, while we were in school, my mum was the one playing with her?? Can you believe this?? The reason why i love cat in 1974 im just 10 years old im almost died because of black cobra behind me that time i have pet cat i call him memgkie we are in the barn prepare food for chicken it was 4pm i did not notice the cobra thanks God my cat save me by meawwwwwing...so loud and we both run after few days my pet died cause of snake bite until now i always remember my cat everytime i see a cat even in the video thank you im now 56 working in kuwait

Love how your mum loves cats now . I think cats know when people don't like them so they get all cute for the person to like them . I had a cat my mothers partner and his son both didn't like cats but once they met my cat they couldn't stop cuddling and playing with him .

My mom didn't like cats in general so i could never get one, untill one day my cat Anastasia came to me, she was alone in the middle of the street so i decited to keep her, i remember i had to hide her from my mom for like almost a week untill my mom found out, she agreed to keep my cat and started caring for her more than she does with me and my siblings, she even cooks at least twice a week ONLY for them, now i have 3 cats and i hope i can rescue more cats in the future ☺🤗
