I've worked with many elderly people, and none of them would walk unless necessary. Your mother really enjoys tourist attractions, which is great as it indirectly encourages her to exercise for good physical health. Good physical health is beneficial, and mental health is even better, enhancing your mother's life with happiness. The most important thing for the elderly is activities like these: being with their children while traveling, having things to do, and getting exercise. It always brings happiness.

Your mother is very lovely! What a jolly and kind lady! She reminds me of my host mother since their characters are so much alike. This video triggered the happy memories I have with my host family especially my host mother whom I have always fondly called "mom" as both to distinguish her to my biological mother whom I call "Mae" (in Thai) and to give her the utmost respect she deserved. I was an exchange student to the state of Wisconsin back in 2004. It was my first ever time to leave the country. It was actually my first flight anywhere ever. Yup, my first every flight was the 25 hours plus trip to the US. LOL I was living with the host family who treated me like their actual son. they made sure that I got as much "American" experiences as possible throughout the year. I got to be a part of the school's varsity soccer team, the bass singer in the choirs, went to New York City with the bands and performed in the St Patrick's Church there (with all the expense covered by them), went trick or treat (as a teenager no less lol), experienced my first ever snow (and of course made the snow angel), went ice fishing, sledging, camping, riding snowmobile, went to family Christmas gathering with all the extended family of both sides, visited 16 states in a year. No need to say how much I appreciated their dedication to a boy from the other side of the world. Before I went back to Thailand in Mid 2005, my host mom, wrote my mother a letter saying that from this day forwards, we shared a son. We kept in touch all those years later and I have long planned the trip for them when they eventually visit me in Thailand which they planned to do in 2011-2012 when my host brother (their youngest) graduate from college. However, in early 2010, my host mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had to go though all the treatments. The cancer was gone a year later but came back and quickly spread throughout her body. Once I learn of the news, I called her and talked to her telling her that I and my mother were going to visit her in the State even though I was just graduated and started my first full-time job less than a year then (my workplace was so nice, they not only allowed me to take vacations even when I just passed the probation and didn't get the full 10-day vacation yet, but my boss also lent me some money for the flight and spending for the trip. I was so lucky to work for them). I remembered our last conversation when I tried to comfort her. She was in so much pain but still tried to talk to me. I clearly remembered the last things she told me to be good and she loves me. She passed away at the age of 49. Only days before my trip. I eventually gone to the state for her funeral instead. Though I didn't have a chance to repay her with the Thailand's trip like we have planned, I still at least got to host my host father who came to visit me with his new wife 3 years later. He told me that she loved you and she knew that I love her very much. Thank you so much to share this with us. I really appreciate it. Please extend my gratitude to your mother too!

I was looking for some activities for my trip in Thailand, most videos are filmed by people in their twenties ( I still am but I get sick of those, they almost look the same), and it was so much fun watching your mother going on a trip at 77 year old. Most people at her age wouldn't, so it give a vibe of ''Hey I'm still there, so let's have fun!'' i just LOVE IT 👑💫

When mom was alive, i was earning pennies but I gave her the best I could. I wish she was alive, would have traveled the world with her. I took my first international trip this June. Was planning to go to Hong Kong at the start of next year, I thought Hong Kong would be my second country but Thailand had other plans, just booked my flight to Bangkok again for March next year. 😂

you won't regret it!!! Hong Kong is wonderful... but it's also VERY expensive, esp compared to Thailand... i hope it proves to be the trip of a lifetime! and please let me know if you need any tips or advice... we're happy to share!
