The only bad part we all universally agree is that bad death by Talia
@Mini_HayleyАй бұрын
I kinda like that she had a very unceremonious and awkward death. Plus I sit by people as they die as part of my job and some people do die kind of like that, couple death rattles and then nothing. The only thing I don’t like about that scene, is that it would have been way better if they didn’t let her finish what she was saying.
@jlhanlon1980Ай бұрын
@@Mini_Hayley that's good to hear you say that, because I actually have seen another reaction where a paramedic said that he has seen people die exactly like Talia. I agree with you, it would've been better had they cut her off mid sentence.

I was a GCPD extra in this film. We trained extensively with the stunt team in 100 degree temps for our scenes, so nothing pleases me more than to hear that it’s your favorite from the trilogy!😊

@@Flix2Us although I like this 2nd to Batman Begins in TDK trilogy, I still like Hardy's villain the most in the trilogy. He accomplished much more than all the others, and was far more intimidating. He also has way more quotable lines. I hate ranting, but I saw TDK 2x in theaters, and loved it. Later, as a comic book fan, with Batman being one of my favorites, I realized there was a lot I didn't like about TDK. First, Batman would never take the blame for killing 5 people and go into hiding for 8 years. They could've blamed it all on the Joker. Besides, Ramirez wasn't killed by Dent, so she could've told. Finally, and don't get me wrong, I loved Ledger, but he just played a psychopath wearing makeup. He needed jokes, gags, and gadgets, like Nicholson. Love your channel btw.

is really hard to pick a favourite... i feel that TDKR is often under rated... the only reason some ppl didn't like it is because TDK set a standard so high that it is impossible even for nolan to surpass... so when TDKR could not match up to TDK start to criticize it.... batman begins also overlooked by many... i see the whole trilogy as one long movie just like LoTR trilogy... and is along side LoTR trilogy as the best trilogy in movie history...

Tom Hardy is such a bad ★SS and I love his inspiration for BANE it was the voice of a Welsh Irish Traveller BARTLEY GORMAN. Often referred to as The King of the Gypsies, who reigned supreme in the world of illegal bare knuckle boxing from 72-92

While Heath was remarkable, Tom Hardy brought something wholly different to the franchise. Hardy’s anger and trauma were seemingly coming from personal struggles, and you can see it in his eyes. The tunnel fight scene was one of the greatest in modern-day film. Furthermore, I think Bale was the best Batman, and DC needs the Nolan Brothers back, stat! 😂

In the comics, Ra's al-Ghul is LITERALLY immortal due to these Fountains of Youth-like pools known as Lazarus Pits - which can fully restore or resurrect anyone that's sick, mortally wounded, or even dead. And so what I love about this is how they use the Lazarus Pits in a realistic way by combining it with Bane's prison. The pit IS the prison - the pit and immortality is metaphorical - Ra's al-Ghul's immortality did rise up from the pit - in the form of his own progeny.

Yes! I knew about that going in. It's cool how they adapted that stuff.

I also have another comment. In my opinion, the most unrealistic part of this film was Bane's raid on the Gotham Stock Exchange and Bruce Wayne losing all of his money and property due to risky stock trades. That would not happen in real life because there are procedures and measures put in place to prevent such occurrences from happening. Bruce Wayne could simply identify them as fraudulent trades, and that would stop them immediately. I have quite a few investments and I can't simply just pick where I want to invest my money. I have a whole procedure and process that I have to go through and follow. Another comment that I have is that the character that Juno Temple portrays in The Dark Knight Rises is based on the character of Holly Robinson from the comics. Holly Robinson acts as the sidekick/assistant to Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the comics.

Remember when Ra's took Talia's body because the Lazarus Pit wasn't sustaining his body anymore? Then tried to steal older Bruce's body. To me, that was the worse thing he ever did. Essentially killed his own daughter to save himself from death. Marian's death scene was arguably one of the worst in movies, up there with that guy in Karate Girl.
@atroll109Ай бұрын
I have a few comments. My first comment is that the plot and storyline for The Dark Knight Rises was inspired from the Batman: Knightfall and Batman: No Man's Lands story arcs. My second comment is that Ben Mendelsohn's character of John Daggett is very loosely based on that of Roland Daggett who was featured in Batman: The Animated Series and voiced by Ed Asner. For me, The Dark Knight is my favorite film in this trilogy, but I do agree that this film is spectacular and wraps up this trilogy well. Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy count as some of my favorite Batman films! Among the aspects that make me like this film, one aspect that stands out is that this was the first live action Batman film that got the character of Bane correct. As was mentioned in the reaction, the first live action Batman film that portrayed Bane was Batman and Robin, which is such a horrible film. I agree that Tom Hardy does a perfect job of portraying Bane. Tom Hardy also had to wear lifts playing Bane because Tom Hardy is 5'9" while Christian Bale is 6'0". My final comment is that Bane was originally created as gimmick villain character in the comics for Batman. The same was true with that of the character Doomsday for Superman. Both of these villains were created in order to temporarily defeat/kill their respective superheroes before those heroes came back and defeated them. But I greatly enjoy that they kept the character of Bane around and developed him further and he remains an indelible part of Batman's Rogue's Gallery and one of the best Batman villains.

My only bone of contention with this movie is calling Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character Robin instead of Dick (Grayson)

Couple of problems. Takes awhile for Bruce to become Batman then gets hurt and takes a while for him to be Batman again. Also all of Gotham's police are stuck in the sewers. Do you realize how many thousands of cops that would be?
@travisgames6608Ай бұрын
Never cared for this one. Alfred's sudden shift to being apprehensive towards Batman and him leaving; Bruce losing all of his money (really?); the stock exchange stuff makes sense yet doesn't with how stock exchanges work. I wish Nolan would have had that Alfred holiday scene in the first movie, so it would have aore emotional pay off in this one. Beautiful movies and well acted. Just not too competent on the plot. A bit sloppy imo.
