Joker had main villain luck turned up to 11 and had +7 against psyche. Bane was physical immune with +8 to strength and Miranda Tate had +10 to patience but -2 to death scenes.

In the comic books, Ra's al-Ghul is ACTUALLY IMMORTAL, and it's due to his Lazarus Pits. The Pits are like fountains of youth for those that are dying or dead, they resurrect the person. Here, the pit is the prison, and the immortality is more metaphorical - living on through his own child. In the comics, it is only Bane that was raised in an island prison - also, he's supposed to be Latino. He was sentenced their from birth for his father's crimes. His mask is actually hooked to a device he wears filled with the drug Venom that, when utilized, gives him more muscle and strength. Also, the cat burglar... that was Catwoman.

Comics Bane is scary because he is a mix of Brain and Brawn. Bane is hyper intelligent, and actually works out Batman's identity. He also doses himself with steroids called Venom to be strong. So in a way, he is like a chemically inverted version of Batman.

I like Batman Begins more than this, but I definitely love this more than TDK. I know I will get a lot of hate for this, but Heath Ledger didn't play any Joker from any comic book I know and Batman would never go into hiding for 8 years and take the blame for killing 5 people. The fact they had to undo it all in this film shows that Nolan felt the same way.

@@jlhanlon1980 That doesn't show that Nolan felt the way you felt. It's just the way the story was meant to go and end. Batman wasn't going to stay in hiding forever (otherwise there wouldn't be a movie), and his name would obviously get cleared somehow to wrap up the story with a good ending.

They filmed the stadium scene at Heinz Field so alot of those extras are old Steelers players.

A lot of the movie was filmed in Pittsburgh. The Heinz field scene was filmed with the whole Steelers players at that time and the whole Philly's team. The Mayor of Pittsburgh at that time is the player who made the initial kick of the game.

The first time I watched this, I missed them talking about the Autopilot being authorized to be fixed by Bruce Wayne. Once I heard that part after I watched it again, I knew the ending with Alfred seeing Bruce and Catwoman at the cafe, was real. And Christian Bale has always said he’s always wanted to do a 4th with Christopher Nolan directing it. Sick movie!

Awesome reaction as always. I was an extra in the football stadium scene and can be seen for a second and a half haha. We spent 8 hours in the hot sun filming, while we were dressed for the scene being in fall/winter. Sweated my ass off that day lol, but worth the experience. Still have my swag (including football jersey) from it.

What I like about this movie is that it kind of reminds me of Batman Beyond which was an animated show where it shows Bruce Wayne as an old man with a cane and his body was broken from being Batman so he eventually has someone else who's younger to take up the mantle of Batman and he trains him and helps him. The Dark Knight Trilogy are my favorite Batman movies. I also love Batman The Animated series and Batman Beyond which are really good TV shows.

Selena Kyle is Catwoman a jewel thief cat burglar expert who often runs into Batman as an ally and sometimes an enemy. In many comics they end up together in one way or another that was more Catwoman then halle berry. Selina Kyle is Catwoman id have loved to see more of her as this character

In the previous movie The Joker actually said something pretty insightful in a monologue with Batman (when he was being detained in the police precinct): "Their morals.. their "code", it's a joke, a bad one. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. You'll see, I'll show you.. When the chips are down.. these "civilized people" They'll eat each other. You see, I'm not a monster, I'm just ahead of the curve (laughs)" I bring this up because in this movie we see he was partially correct at least, as Gotham tears itself apart when trouble occurs and there are no rules in place for the world as Bane takes over.

This film has a special meaning for us in Aurora Colorado. On July 20, 2012 the Midnight Premiere of TDKR. Some a$$hat killed 12 people 38 minutes into the showing. May those 12 people Rest In Piece. Luckily I didn’t buy my ticket in time so I got the first showing the next morning.

LOL so Anne Hatheway plays Selina Kyle.. AKA Catwoman.. The Mrs. was right. She is in fact the same character that Halle Berry played years prior.. but in this universe, and she plays her much better if you'd ask me. If you guys choose to watch The Batman (2022, Robert Pattinson), she may show back up again ;) Also Catwoman was ALWAYS playing for herself. She's a thief. But.. she also assists Batman at times if he's in trouble or if it suits her needs. She's not a good "guy" necessarily, but she's not a bad one either. Also Bane has much of the same ideology as Ra's Al Ghoul did. They believe that when an empire grows so large, and gets so decadent, that it's time for it to collapse and start over. Basically they believe if they do in fact destroy Gotham, or whatever empire, that it will be for the better and will allow people to be more just and grow better, by getting rid of the "trash".

This trilogy taken as a whole is fantastic IMHO. I married an og comic book kid, so I see EVERYTHING with detailed backstory😁. I have had to set serious spoiler boundaries over the years 😉 It's nice when something exceeds expectations. Even better when there's a sweet little love story to top it off. I like that at the end of the day Batman wasn't the hero. He was just the inspiration. The heroes were ordinary people. It's a nice reminder of the power of our actions to influence significant good or bad in our communities.

The fingerprints were stolen so Dagget could bankrupt Wayne and take over Wayne Enterprises. Bane appeared to work for Dagget simply to make use of Dagget's resources for his own goals - the total destruction of Gotham. Bane knew Bruce Wayne and Batman were one in the same before the events of the film even started. He used Dagget to get his hands on Wayne's resources to carry out his entire plan and bring Ras al Ghul's plan to fruition.

Bane was played by Tom Hardy, who did in fact play Venom as well. My only issue with this movie(besides a football stadium being destroyed, that hurt my soul as a football fan) was the reveal of Blake's real name as Robin. I realize they did it that way so casual viewers that aren't familiar with the comics would make the connection, but it was a bit too on the nose in my opinion. It would have made more sense to reveal his name as "Richard", "Dick", "Mr. Grayson", "Tim", or "Mr. Drake"(referencing Richard "Dick" Grayson and Tim Drake, the original and third Robins in the comics). Also, heli-skiing is jumping out of a helicopter onto the mountain instead of a ski lift. Bro, Smallville is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥! Definitely worth watching! And the theme("Save Me" by Remy Zero) is dope too.

Wow you caught something I didn't and I've watched this movie and Game of Thrones many times, the dude who was a legend in Gin Alley. Now he's a fookin' legend in Gotham. This is a good movie, Bane is just brutal in this. Guess you'll be watching the DCU movies next starting with Superman. Eventually you'll get to the 2022 movie The Batman. Its awesome.
