Shall we take bets how long this scape and fish stocking will last . My guess is 3-4 months ... 6 months tops 😂😂 but can't wait to see what S.A fish stocking going into it 😊

Also think the lighting is going to be good enough for the plants toward the bottom of the tank ?
@NickG-t6n22 сағат бұрын
Nature is chaotic and it's beautiful. Things tend to come together when you don't put pressure on yourself to create "perfection", that can never be in a world of constant change and chaos. Lovely scape

This reminds me of the underwater forest tank exhibits from the Dallas world aquarium, gosh I love this new scape Joey.
@scrom2920 сағат бұрын
A long term breeding project of a fish species or specific line would satisfy the long term tank fans and the update people. A small species so the tanks take up little space like apistogramma cacatuoides

I would have maybe kept those sticks in the corner with or without plants as something you might see on a river bank. Also some plants attached to the background might look good and add depth 😊

It’s going to look great when the plants grow in more! I mean, it’s already cool, but with most scapes, they evolve with plant growth.

personally i would love to have seen nano fish in there to really get the sense of scale...but still, great tank.
@matthewferguson842322 сағат бұрын
I hope you're getting a nice group of Pike cichlids. But I also can't remember you having South American Bass, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what you go for. I hope not as I am not personally a big fan of them and much prefer pikes. Pikes would look wonderful darting in and out of those roots. I assume the Altums angels, geos, accaras are going in here. All the more reason not to put bass in. I'd love to see chocolate cichlids and Panda Uaru. Very much hope you keep the parrot fish and oscars out of here. If you can stock it with a large school of large South American tetras for dither, that would be cool! Redline or green lizard Tetras and/or some kind of Brycon would look great.
@stevenalessi471022 сағат бұрын
When he grew out the red tails I know he had bass and I thought they were peacocks but if the weren't it would be awesome to see them in that tank
@matthewferguson842318 сағат бұрын
@stevenalessi4710 Oh, yeah. I remember now. I would really like to see a school of Pike cichlids. But perhaps they would be nearly as dangerous to the Altums as peacock bass would be. Chocolate cichlids and or true parrot cichlids would be dope.
