So whatever he said it is correct. The only reason it is high because he lives in downtown and downtown is really expensive. Housing is so expensive especially where he lives it is that much and higher. My friends live in downtown and they live like 4-5 friends together to afford that. Plus it all depends on how much you earn. If you’re earning a good amount it’s really amazing living in downtown. 💛

It’s not just about that. It’s about the QUALITY of life. Quality of employment, quality of how people treat you, society etc. Peace of mind. I work in a law firm in Vancouver as a legal assistant. There’s no clocking in, no clocking out for lunch, no unpaid overtime, my coworkers and boss are simply fantastic. I am willing to sacrifice anything for this.

If you are a student in Canada then your college gets you covered for the medical insurance… so you don’t need to pay for the medical insurance.. check with your college

Sounds pretty unrealistic for average international students, honestly most students are very cautious about their spendings when abroad, spending so much on party and stuff is def a personal choice but not something to be inspired from, looks like you’re on a long vacation and exhausting all your savings🤷🏻‍♀️
