You're just overall awesome and one of my favorite youtubers to enjoy some relaxing and productive time with. Sending you all the best, would love to see what you're working on next! P.S. I was drinking tea as I was watching this video, I got a new metal teabag to avoid using disposable ones... good for the planet and you don't put any residual bleaching agents from the teabag into your daily drink! :) plus you'll never run out of teabags ahah

Trying to decide if I should spend a month or 2 in Montreal to study French. Thoughts anyone?!
@thejohnfish5 жыл бұрын
So Montreal is a great city to live in but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it over other french-speaking cities if the intent is to learn french because you can totally get by with English/Frenglish here so you don't get full immersion. Quebec City is more french speaking I think, but if you want a "true immersion", France is the way to go.
@American_Boy5 жыл бұрын
@@thejohnfish haha but France is soooo far! I live in NYC and Montreal is just a train ride away. I've been a few times and I really enjoy practicing French while there. But France does sound cool too 🙏🏾
@Nesggy5 жыл бұрын
@@American_Boy I'm French and I think France is obviously the best way to learn French, but you can also learn French in Montreal too but you have to live with French speakers only because there is a lot of bilingual so try to not switch into English when it gets hard because this is the way you must follow to learn whatever language you want by immersing yourself with French speakers only. I'm French and I want to live in Montreal and I want to learn English so I will try to not switch into French when it gets hard
@American_Boy5 жыл бұрын
@@Nesggy Thanks! I'm a language student and I've been to Montreal a few times to practice so I think it'll be a good option. France is cool too, but since in based in NYC, Montreal is much closer. Every time I'm there I speak as much French as a possibly can and I usually do okay.

Hi John, I’m a fresh software dev (graduated 2017) and I noticed you had the same kind of setup I had before i started working. Sublime and atom are generic and I suppose work with a number of languages/situations. However I would seriously recommend customising your IDE to match your language and your needs, I remember you saying in a previous vid you were working with python, I would seriously recommend the IDE pycharm. I’m working as a FED now so I am using VSCode and I’m obsessed. The amount of time you can save when using am IDE specific to your use case is unreal. It’s definitely worth it!
