I looooooove your personality. I had never been on a man channel, not that I have tried or tried not to, just yt recommanded only women channel to me. This is exactly the kind of content I have been looking for! Enjoy first impression videos but have definitely been needing in-depth evaluations and you really need time for that. Thank you for willing to revisit 🙂 This is the only palette I have purchased this year and I have been so happy with it. It's the direction I wish Pat McGrath Labs had gone in rather than their current one. In terms of longevity, I have had zero issues with this as long as I use a primer (which is pretty much a requirement for me for any shadow). I have worn it multiple times into the office for 8-9 hours without experiencing much fading or movement and even a holiday event at Korean BBQ.

I agree with you Isamaya is doing what I wish PMG was doing. It’s so interesting and I absolutely love love love this palette. The second launch for isamaya was less interesting to me but I still think it’s cool that she’s doing her own thing.

Okay your inner corner highlight is so beautiful. I was entranced by your whole look this video. that being said, i’ll dupe the vibes and maybe buy a pretty blue highlighter instead to mimic it. i have PLENTY of eyeshadow but until i have a friend to gift some of my shadow to, i really have no business buying any new shadow for quite a while. seriously you have turned it out using this palette!!! 💖✨

I have been thinking of this palette for a long time. I found a coupon code that made it a bit more ‘affordable’ (like 80 dollars) and I just got it today. I know I was afraid that the packaging could give me some nightmares and it still may but I am really looking forward to playing with it. I tried one on as soon as I got it and just swatched a few. I liked the color story as soon as I saw it and i am always excited to try a different formula . Yay!

Isamaya is an absolutely legendary makeup artist and creative genius. I recently got my hands on this palette as well ( I’d really love to get my hands on the SkinLaq as well that has just launched) & it is SO UNIQUE and there’s literally nothing like it. I also feel like it’s like Isamaya is making these limited collections as like little “gifts” of herself to others, who love her artistry and creativity… you can genuinely feel that it is 100% from her… and I think that is so special ☺️ I hope this made sense lol

voted!! :)..and i totally relate to searching for videos to support our wants lol. i'm the same in that i am apprehensive about the packaging but would love to try the formulas in that palette. i love the collection concept and don't have items that are like what's offered in it which is tempting me but i'm still sitting on it for a bit more. i think formula/finish are my biggest curiosities at the moment with not having tried Clionadh, Terra Moons, Isamaya, Adept, Guerlain, etc. the temptation never ends haha. ps apparently the cover of the palette is easy to remove, not sure if you'd go to those lengths, but hearing Alicia Archer describe it as AHS was quite endearing ha!

As I said in the video the cover of it doesn’t actually bother me, I’m kind of humored by it at this point, it always makes me notice it when it’s in my drawers! And I agree there is a lot to try! I just remember the feeling I got seeing the imagery for this collection and being like “I have to!” And I saved my budget all June in order to get it. I’d do it again!

How's your experience with the palette almost a year into it? I am in love with the aesthetics of this palette and I'm thinking to get it but I watched some reviews of people saying several of the shadows hard panned a few weeks after using them

So, I always use my fingers when I use it but I never have any trouble picking up pigment that way. If I used brushes I don’t think they’d pick up much at this point. The formulas definitely lend themselves to finger painting imo.

What do you think about this in comparison with PMG and some indi shadows like terramoons?

This palette has 10 formulas across the 14 shadows and I don't think any of them feel like the special shades in Pat McGrath. I think they have a similar impact on the eye. I would say that all of these formulas feel rather unique to me and one doesn't feel like the other even inside of the palette itself.
