Hey Arden! I know this video is sponsored but that glossier sunscreen is really not good and I would advise against using/promoting it! Just check the ingredients. The orange essential oil is known to be irritating and photosensitizing (which is especially bad in a sunscreen). Plus, they didn't put in a stabilizing agent for avobenzone, which unstabilized can allow free radicals into the skin. Avobenzone is also known irritant for many people. And $34 for 30ml is outrageous. If you use the effective amount for sunscreen to work, you'll be out of product after like 20 applications. I can't tell if this product is a scam or if they really didn't do any research. I would recommend going back to the missha sunscreen if you still have it, this time mixing in a couple drops of rosehip oil to reduce the white cast. Another good alternative is biore's aqua rich watery essence sunscreen in the pale blue packaging, it's known for not leaving a white cast.

I personally use the PALMERS EVENTONE SUNCARE SPF (it's +50 and great for my darker skin babes)! And it's also 8 or 9 bucks, such a steal! And they're cruelty free 💓🐭

Lai B. Does the Shea Moisture leave a white cast and sit well under makeup? I find when wearing sunblock, moisturizer, foundation, that I always end up with pilling? (I believe that's what it's called) everything balls up into a mess on the skin and makes for the most thick, unflattering base! I also looked up the Missha sunscreen on Amazon, and while it has good reviews, people state that it comes half empty. 😭 I've heard good things about the Estee Lauder sunblock but don't want to spend $30 for an oz of product either... so the hunt continues...

Tara If you decide to get it, a little goes a long way and I find that putting on moisturizer and letting it sink into my skin and then going in with the sunblock helps a lot better. It's a very rich consistency, and I find it leaves my skin super glowy but also not greasy (and I have dry/oily skin/sensitive). Use a light moisturizer and then finish with the sun block OR simply use the sun block as a moisturizer because it's very hydrating 💦 No white cast and it will last you a good long while babe! I also know what you mean about the "over moisturized" feeling; I had the issue for a while but really starting out with a little product and working it into the skin does wonders. I don't typically wear foundation on a daily basis, but if you were to use it with the sun block then I would suggest a light dusting of powder beforehand! 💖

Mario Badescu drying lotion is the best solution for breakouts trust me!!! Also for cystic acne I like to use the Indian healing clay... it draws out all the impurities in that spot to the surface making it easier to get rid of!

Girl I ve been using this acne cream that you used in the morning but I made the mistake to only use it for about three hours a day as my dermatologist had recommended and it did nothing.BUT I went to another dermatologist and she told me to use it all night all over my face and now after almost 5 months my skin has cleared and it's beautiful! Hey Arden-just a note on your acne gel (I use the same Trentoin gel thingy bob prescribed my a derm) it's only effective when you use it on clean dry skin as layering it on top of anything else will basically stop it from doing anything. If you do it it in the morning (I only use alone at night) wait a while before you put on any moisturiser & suncreen. Hope this helps x

apply prescription medications first before any other product clindamycin is an antibiotic so you want it to be the first one to contact your problem areas, I use it too + benzoyl peroxide then apply moisturizer after it sinks in (i give it about 15 mins) just an advice, you don't have to follow it :) (these are from my dermatologist)

I dont know if you already do it but I had severe acne a few months ago and my naturopath suggested cutting out dairy for a while. Honestly, it cleared within a couple weeks. I still get a few zits here and there especially around my period. Try it out for a while and see if it helps 😊

A couple suggestions about your skincare routine: 1. tretinoin will deactivate when exposed to the sun so any product containing it should only be applied at bedtime. If you put it on and then are in the sun, it won't work. 2. any acne treatment should be applied to your skin first, before any other product if possible. Great vid Arden, I love glossier as well!! And I'm so happy you're encouraging people to wear sunscreen urryday.

HEY. might sound weird but i've noticed that whenever you do have breakouts its in the lower jaw-ish area only. I also only get breakouts in that area which is caused by Rosacea, i have very mild rosacea (papular rosacea) and it only affects me in that area. I thought it was just breakouts but after doing some research / seeing a dermatologist (they originally diagnosed it dermatitis but then papular rosacea). You should look into it! I find that people only relate rosacea 2 red cheeks and such but rosacea acne is a thing, I also find that products that have any sort of alcohol / fragrance REALLY irritate / break out my face in the lower area. I.e Glossier's rich primer / serums & masks ect

hey! since you like a light coverage base and sunscreen i would recommend the tarte bb tinted moisturizer. it has i think spf 25 and is made without oils/parabens/sulfates which is good if you have acne problems and/or sensitive skin. i love love love it and the way you described what kind of base you like and skin you have i think you would like it too. also benefit's hello flawless oxygen wow foundation is very similar in that it has spf 25 and is oil free but it is more of a medium coverage if you're feelin it

Acne happens for a reason! My acne came back last summer and it ended up being from an infection in my intestines and elevated insulin levels. Once I treated the infection and got my insulin under control, the acne went away.
