Great seeing both perspectives from the climber and the ground guy. Only 20 minutes in and loving every minute of it. If I wasn’t disabled and across the country I’d absolutely come work for you. 🙃 Good on Cayden for following his dreams, wild land firefighters are something else, the stuff they go through is other worldly, much respect to him for wanting to do that.
@williammaxwell191923 күн бұрын
Why not go watch from the ground? Or maybe fly a drone? May not be the same experience as able-body, but an experience all the same. I'm probably past climbing but wouldn't say no to being winched up to enjoy the view and maybe brush a limb or two. Our disabilities don't need to define us.

I saw the length of this video and thought "I'm not watching some MOVIE". Then I saw it was you. OK, I'll watch some before dinner, some after dinner and some a little later. Man, am I glad I did. The way you and your crew get along is how we all should work. Not only are you and your guys talented, you all have a good sense of humor and an admirable work ethic. I've been watching since the original "Guilty" and I'll keep watching no matter how long the videos.

You and your crew move like a well oiled machine. Experience shows - love the videos! Small tip: That "slowly feeling worse and worse" throughout the day - boss - you need to drink more fluids - something with electrolytes added. It will help. When I was working out day labor, I'd start with a generic bottle of Pedialyte in the morning - then even if you drink straight water later, the pedialyte helps you keep the hydration when you're up in a tree for long periods. It sounds crazy, but it'll make a huge difference -- stay away from sodas or any of that garbage!

Dude, you're saying it right! In the summer, in extreme heat, I almost lost consciousness while working with a saw, most likely it was dehydration + heat stroke. On this hot working day, I drank a lot and still it didn't help, I swam, after four hours I felt better.
@swere124024 күн бұрын
@@Михаил-м8з2х probly not heat stroke thats when u actually pass out more like heat exhaustion which is basically a minor heat stroke. i had it happen one time and the next 2 days after it i felt like shit. i barely had enough energy to even hold up my head without thinking about it it was pretty wild.

Watched all the way through... Fast forwarded a little bit of the large chunking, but my favorite part was the customer interaction at the end. That's the most important part of your success is the rapport with clients. For all the "repartee" you guys indulge in, you still maintain the communication and situational awareness that is needed in high-risk work environments. & many wouldn't trim the stub from removing a limb that takes additional time; that you consistently do demonstrates that you are consciously aware of managing safety risks. Kudos you and your crew

Day 1, you guys did look a little nervous, but day 2, you were soooooo slick working as a team and really impressive to watch! I had to watch that last top coming out like 10 times!!! So little movement of the trees just by adding the munter hitch at the top of Jacobs tree. That was my favourite part of the movie 😊 I might actually put that on my PSVR on cinematic mode and watch the whole thing again, which would make you the 1st video I've used it for! Just a thought for the next insane job like this one..... before starting chunking that last tree, could you have done a free complimentary stump grind with the old stump and the smallest stump to give yourselves a slightly larger drop zone that is also nice a soft from all the wood chip from those stumps??? It may have cost you a couple of hours, but it would have reduced the pucker factor of that drop zone a LOT. Finally, Randy joining the team full time is going to be awesome!!!!!! 😊👍👍👍👍👍
