Super fun to see your people coming forward. Love love love the abstract backgrounds. Find it a little hard to believe that Joburg doesn't have hugely fascinating urban subject matter. Paul Wang does AMAZING sketches of markets and life on the streets. Gotta believe Joburg offers similar rich opportunities...Happy New Year Taria. Taria, I have been thoroughly enjoying your channel and you style. I am not an urban sketcher, but more of a botanical artist. Yet I have learned a lot about light and shadow, along with different techniques watching you. I have to say, even though you say your people sketches are not "good," you have captured gesture and expression really well. And I love the abstract backgrounds with the sketches over! Well done!
