I barely ever save other than the autosaves whenever you change level, and on this mode its useless to make saves if you jsut lose them all once you die.

@@PorgiUK that was pretty much what i was doing when i first played the stalker series, i move quietly behind the military patrol and then started to blast them close range only to realize hours later that there was a certain mechanic that would make a bullet sponge... The memories was certainly is still a good one in my mind, i love this game series a lot.

Did that once I had to track a chest with some loot in it. It was north east in the swamps, I found a military base. It was to close to the loot. So I atacked them. THEN out of nowhere a emmision happens. I had to kill all the soldiers fast since the building I was standing didn't have a roof. After the firefight I runned to the house in front of me. After the Emmision passed I spotted a zombie. It was soldier that didn't make it.

Hi Everyone, cheers for all the lovely comments. They mean a great deal. This video is already over a year old now and I never expected to really get any views at all, just wanted to upload a great memory. I have changed my name to Porgi and will be going with that as I don't like my previous name. For future uploads, I'll be honest. I did have loads of ideas but unfortunately I've been dealing with a lot of IRL stuff and not limited to quarantine as well. It's been very difficult for me to find the motivation to upload anything but I want to let you guys know as you've been so great towards me. I will be uploading if and when I have the time. Stalker 2 has been announced this year and I want to give you guys something too way you over to the time of release. In terms of future uploads i won't be limited to just Stalker. @@alexandergray0 For this is did this all manaully but i would recommened using a mod loader called JSGME. ive used nexus mod manger before this is a little more barebones but will simulate the mod order that is recommended but for sake of contionuity you are able to load it the same way i have in my description, if not let the JSGME do it for you and troubleshoot if that dosent work, if worse comes to shove try manaul. You could improve the experience by installing increased weapon damage, it increases your and the NPCs weapon damage. It makes you be a bit tactical and wary while clearing buildings

Yeah i think i have got a damage mod installed now that i think about it, there was one mod that did it for me in the list but i cant remember which, cause i was using it in this video. I was lucky to survive throughout. Forgot which onje but if you follow the list defintly have one installed.

Warfighter is a damage rebalance mod. Knew it was one of them just couldnt remember which.

It is even much better. Judging by the bandits' weapons and equipment, you have just started from a saved game. In the Anomaly mod, for example, if you play for about 5 hours in a row, without many loads, you can see how the enemies also have progression in their equipments. A stalker that at first you see with novice equipment, hours of gameplay later, you will see the same character with better equipment, including enemies. I've had better and more interesting events, like being in the swamps, a blowout started. So I ran to a safe haven where a group of bandits, mercenaries and I met. It goes without saying that a firefight began between the three factions as hell broke loose outside. And can we talk about that moment when you shoot some enemy and he dies shooting his gun? And accidentally kill the guy next to him? Or when an enemy will trow you a grenade, you shoot him, and that grenade fall and explodes killing most of enemies?

Yeah, this vid is a year old now and ive switched to Anomaly myself and id definitely agree that anomaly is built with a clearer vision, COC is just abit more hodge podge as its putting mods together of your own accord. Still playing anomaly still as its so good but this vid was the awakening of why the stalker series hooked me, sure majority of tad details may be better in anomaly but this was all the pieces falling into place perfectly which is what no other game,mod had ever done prior

The amount of enemies and allies in a confrontation is very much taken into account. For example, if you face 2 bandits, they will attack you normally. Now that if you face 5, they start to advance towards you, and it seems that they follow you to the end of the world to kill you. On the contrary, if you go with allies, and the enemy has fewer soldiers, they will start to flee.

@@PorgiUK Welp how lucky! I was saving and reloading with a trader to reset their items (that's what people recommended to do online) but I had been doing it for 30-40 minutes with no luck. Just did it a few more times and a basic toolkit finally appeared haha!

Nice showcase of Stalker goodness! It can get pretty intense at times. The combination of sneaky AI, great sound and the inherent unpredictability of the game keeps you on your toes. And when a shotgun suddenly goes off nearby? I, too, jumped out of my skin at 3:18 :)

Important note if you are having crashes when using "companion move-to-point" command, according to the developer note from the coc 1.14.19 patch: "If you use STCOP addon delete gamedata\particles.xr or you will have a crash when using companion Move-To-Point due to missing particles. STCOP particles have been merged into vanilla CoC particles.xr" I found this to be true for this mod list even though you are using patch 1.4.22. Might not be obvious for novices (like me).

Depends on the person and content creator, dont know many Stalker content creators myself. What ive done with my modpack is made it as tight as possible for me to feel engrosed so i feel more scared. i can see how it might not be as scary for some but thats why modding it can be so great. I have also got some more content coming eventaully but it isnt so much scary as in more so lighthearted compared to this vid. Also, are you using TRX Dynamic News mod as well? I was following your mod order, and in the description of TRX A-Life it said that you should have Dynamic News in order for it to function properly. Cheeki breeki bulemic boyo fleshpig a go go! Such is life in the Zone. But now I must levy a gripe. A grip gripe. Why do modders think you're supposed to hold the nub grip of a GP-25 like a foregrip while firing the host rifle? The nub grip is only there for firing the launcher. It's not meant to be used as a foregrip for the host rifle. ShoC had it right. Clear Sky got it wrong. Then they left it wrong in CoP. So then, modders must have thought that was the right way to do it because CoP is newer than ShoC and logic would suggest that the newer way of doing things is more correct. Right?! RIGHT?! But nope. Sometimes it works the other way around. It shouldn't work that way, but it does. Or to quote Metallica, "Moving back instead of forward seems to me absurd." *Note:* They screwed up all the pump shotguns too. Your character cycles the action like a greenhorn rookie noob chump! All over-exaggerated and whatnot. Your character also wracks the slide at moments when he ought not be doing so. Such as at the end of a tactical reload. If you did that IRL, you'd eject an unspent cartridge. 5:32 I kinda like that Lost Alpha style of aiming with the GP-25's quadrant sight. I'm still cheesed off about the incorrect grip "technique," though. Why is that the status quo? This is S.T.A.L.K.E.R., not some other FPS game that draws influence from Hollywood. Then again, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. does have more than a few Hollywood guns in it - namely the Desert Eagle, the SPAS-12, and the G36. I don't commonly use any of them (sort of an act of defiance against the Hollywood machine).

Omg thanks for the comment. I never really knew of this stuff. I'm into alot of FPS but ive never delved deep into certain aspects like the grenade launchers getup. It is an intresting fact. Especially early on in development cycles In that time I'm guessing there must have been difficulties getting combat tips and using the guns themselves to model and collect sound clips correctly as of the market being young and not as large as it is today. Though all in all I do see that it is only one or two aspects if the game that are quite minimal and by the industry standard it hits all the right marks. Especially that most if not everything is made by modders so creating all these animations and models must be difficult and time consuming. I think if you want a more accurate models,animations,sound design etc. You can check out the Gunslinger mod for COP. Which looks pretty good but haven't tried it out myself. The only things left to do are to make grenade launcher sights fully functional to the point that they're adjustable for distance (like in Project Reality), though having one functional setting is good enough for classic Zone-style gameplay, and maybe also add Red Orchestra-style gameplay mechanics so bipods can be made fully functional. Glad you have have a good time with it . Dont buy too much ammo at once, only carry on what you need, You can use stashes to store stuff. Trx zone fm is probably failed, it might because of the version you are using if so make sure it is 1.4.22. If thats not the reason as the mod is optional you might just need to redownload it, if so open the trx zone fm moddb page > download tjat and overrightt the gamedata folder. That looks like what the problem is but if that dosent work try starting from scratch and either install everything one by one and open the game to test if after every mod installation it is working, you can use JSME (I Think thats the mod loader) and use that instead as it does streamline mod load order and installation. Either way glad you downloaded my modpack, and i hope it gets working. Appreicete the kind words ans good hunting stalker.

Some do have cross ability but they will have to be downloaded from the CoP addons on Moddb, a mod that is i believe is STCOP, but a cool mod called gunslinger looks cool for it too. Hope this helps and good hunting stalker

hello, i was wondering what graphical settings may cause crashing. i can play anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, but i know an eventual crash will occur. any tips? i cycled through mod compatibility and everything yet can't get to the bottom of it. thanks for the mod list though and great videos.

If it dosent crash with a crash report then it may be something fundamental, like yes high graphics settings or phyisical components. I wouldnt be able to deduce it myself but whenever i have any problems with Stalker, i just play it in "safe mode" where i turn everything to low or switch off mods. I think the worst culprit from what i remember was the HUD mod for this and STCOP as sometimes certain models wouldnt load fast enough and caused crashes but id 9/10 get a crash report. Good luck though hope you can sort it and thanks it means a bunch, dont upload often but every once in a ... while :D. Good hunting Stalker

Cheers for the comment. I play this way so I have a general direction to start on for each faction and permadeath makes the game super suspenseful. Bandit camp north of garage I believe. And day and night cycle is always set and you can change this in the weather options on the main menu. Hope you have fun with it :)

Thanks for this video. It's great list of mods. I've installed yesterday and must say It has been a long time since the last time I would feel such immersion in the game. Btw, did you figure out Smurth's Dynamic HUD animations of medkit, bandages etc? :)

Fantastic that my mod list helped you get that fix. Really appreciete the kind words. I remember some very particular bugs that were difficult to get around, off the top of my head I wouldn't be able to help. But if the game crashes or fails and come up with an error msg you can find some forums. But i do believe there is a said option in the menu on if you want them or not. Cheers for the comment.

Ive had a try with this before with one of my friends and it worked perfectly fine. It only need the CoP exe i believe to validate that it can be opened. I dont think it comes with a lisence check as you can buy the game DRM free on something like GOG. Hope it works for you.

So absolute nature redux and autumn winds are incompatible as they replace each other it is down to prefrence. But everything else is running at the same time. If its crashing it should come up with a crash log, that crash log will give you info on the mod thqt caused the problem. I preferred the models back I'm the day as they are more consistent. I have played arsenal overhaul though and it is very good but you get like 6 models of guns that look out of place. Though this video is old now and I don't play with either as I play Stalker anomaly

It would be good to start with SOC, there is a mod called SOC COMPLETE 2007? i believe, it just overhauls stalker to look more up to date and has ton of qol changes. Very easy to install as its just one large mod

I won't be able to fully walk you through it but i do have a video soon that will go through with the mod loader as my gamedata corrupted. If you follow the mod load order but everytime you install a mod reopen thr game and check if it works. Youll be able to catch out where it goes wrong. Also make sure you install the relevant patches for each mod. I will try to get the vid up soon as i know a few people struggle with it cause stalker isnt very mod friendly. If meed be you can install a mod loader on mod db.

@@erichpincek4799 Hey my dude i think i may be able to help, So this might be a problem with Smurths dynamic hud and the outfit addons. This not be a direct fix but hopefully will stop the problem - go into the settings menu - go to game and Turn off Dynamic hud menu. IF this dosent work or if you have an older version it should fall under the setting for gas mask related hud. Because im not the devolopler and most of this is pretty much down to installation i cant gureentee i can help but its perfect that you have a crash report, the " Expression : P != pathes.end() Function : CLocatorAPI::get_path File : LocatorAPI.cpp Line : 1577 Description : $textures_ui$" Gives you information in mutliple areas including what mod it might be or whats going wrong, but this does seem to be a texture issue with locating files which might be Smurths Hud. Keep trying to narrow it down and hope it helps If everything does not work i would still advise that you make sure to make the load order yourself through whati h ave in the desc as different files for the base coc might of been changed over time. I Hope this does help

Id definitly say that the mod list in my description is a perfect place to start, its highly customizable and on top of that very simple with tons of features. you are able to download a mod loader for these aswell. The mod order i put in my description shouldnt cause many problem as they work together, also mods will come with a read me txt file that can help if there are any problems. Hope this helps

It is quite a long winded process doing it manaully so this is your best option, alos explaining it might be difficult. But most mods will have "gamedata" folders all you gotta do it extract the gamedata folders from the mod and let it overwrite the gamedata folder for the COC game. Make sure after everytime you do open it up and make sure it still works so that you are able to know which mods arent working as its easier to troubleshoot. Call of pipryat is the base of coc. It comes down to personal opinion. I think its good but coc is every game mixed into one with the option to add or chamge the experience. Stalker anomaly is my choice as its a good mix of polish and features plus its standalone.

@@swayamsarangi146 Hardest. Everything that I've done in this video is customizable and tailored specifically so its straight forward, you can turn off all HUD, etc. In terms of finding stuff check settings and your progression WILL be different from mine.
