What a great old Mora Love your machete My wife has a Hora Knife like that and hasn’t used it bc she thinks it’s too nice lol I bought my son the large and small Bucklites and he uses them for food prep Nice choices

You should put a little shape to the machete scales. That oak would pop with just a little sanding. I have a machete ive been using for 20+ years and can appreciate keeping a old blade alive. I have several well known pricey blades and still fall back on my old tramatina Good group you got there

This was my first attempt at anything like this and yes, this machete lacks handle ergonomics 🤪. I guess it’s not too late to do a bit more sanding. Happy New Years!

I believe that knives are great to collect, but they should be used for that's what they are made for, just collecting them is just a total waste..
