The animations of strikers are playable characters. To make a model that has an attack combo from user input is harder to do than to animate a cut scene Sp3 and tap and watch specials 1 and 2… make a block animation and a dash forward and back animation and the character is done. If relics werent strikers and were more so just extra abilities for a character then yes id agree. But they appear on screen and fight just like a normal character so to do that you might as well flesh out an entire model and make them apart of the roster.

Maybe since medusa was buffed they could add Crystal and like Kitty does with Lockheed, she can have immunities because of Lockjaw and when she dashes back Lockjaw teleports her so she always avoids Projectiles. I've wanted to see more inhuman representation, maybe just one month.

Cloak and dagger and cannonball are the only ones id care for due to potential unique abilities we have yet to see. Would be interesting if specials change your form or if they are both on screen at the same time and just are “one” or a prefight choice of which one you would be. C&D is very interesting if they are one character with options or such, if they are separate i wouldnt want them at all. And cannonball would just be a fun character i think. But already so many fire/explosive style characters.

@animecatwoman ive played this game since release lol. I just dont think they are interesting separate for years now they are almost always exclusively a pair. Also Sentry and Void are the same body not the same person at all with different power sets. One version is a hero the other a villain. Cloak and dagger separated are not as interesting also the power set mixing their abilities allows more immunities and buff/debuff potential more versatile. Also if they are separate id assume a synergy need for them to be viable will be implemented there is also no dual character in the game so thatd be an interesting dynamic to make it a more desirable champion to push for.

Mystique-hear me out.... Gains 1-2 persistent charges per quest or "x" amount of wins. She can use the persistent charge to copy A a member of the questing team or B the opponent. (Copy = replace Mystique with the other character. Or she can become the first fully support only champ by being unplayable because she is replaced with a selectable character in the pre fight screen. With her signature level dictating which champions are available for her to copy. (It could be random to selectable). Combine both ideas and let the persistent charges reduce the randomness by a percentage)

Reading New Warriors got me into comics back in the earlier 90's. We have Night Thrasher, Darkhawk, and Nova. I would love to see Firestar, Justice/Marvel Boy, Speedball, Namorita(A Namor link) are the original team but I think adding Silhouette would be amazing (she came in later issue)Silhouette and her brother Aaron Chord (Midnight's Fire a villain) are mutants with magical powers gained from the bloodline of their mother, a member of a temple cult in Southeast Asia who married an African-American soldier from the Vietnam War. She manipulates the Darkforce, having the power to teleport, hide in shadows, and more. She is also a paraplegic, having been paralyzed from the waist down by a bullet injury sustained tracking drug gangs early in her career. would be the first disabled mutant in game.

I’d like to see characters sort of merge because I feel that can be a big part of the comics sometimes and it’s not built upon in game or empowered like where that one time cyclops got his full potential unlocked and you could have that for various characters and you can pick up selectors that allow you to pick some type of empowerment(maybe similar to ascensions or relics the way they grant additional effects and come with a new design) these name are a bit cliché but I’m sure they’d come up with something better
