In spite of being a 65-yo granny and with a colour palette (winter) and style (edgy or pinup) quite different from yours, I love your videos and find them very inspirational. I like to watch them in the morning and they always put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. Your OTK boots are so beautiful and I'm seriously considering a pair for myself to wear with leggings. Same with jumper dresses and gilets. ASOS and Top Shop are brands that I have never given a thought, but now I'll take a close look at the links you have provided. It's almost the end of Summer here in Florida, so I'm watching the recaps from last year to predict what will still be on trend this year. Your Gucci Dionysus bag remains a classic with burgundy leading the colors this Fall! While we are still in shorts and sleeveless shirts here: we're starting to pine for Fall colors. I'm finding myself wearing Winter colors in trousers, but rolled up with a nod to temperatures still in the 90°'s. To be honest, I'm getting tired of bloggers justifying every luxury purchase by saying it's an investment piece. You can buy all the clothes you want if you can afford them and if it makes you happy. But please, stop calling every other item an "investment" unless it actually is one (such as Chanel bags because they increase in value). Otherwise, can we just say what they really are : premium/luxury pieces, some of which are good quality but others tend to be overpriced because of the brand name. You don't need to pay 1000+ dollars for a handbag to get high quality, you are paying for the brand. It is not an investment but a luxury. Be happy and proud that you can afford it, but also be honest about it.

Great video. I love your style and you have definitely influenced my style over the last year. I used to wear either lots of black and denim or from Boden, mix of brighter colours. But now I'm going for greys, biege, pale blue, pale pink and cream, and love the colouring against my fair skin and blonde hair. I wore a broderie anglais dress to my wedding, it's what I wanted to wear as had a very low key event and am so pleased you said how sophisticated you felt in your similar summer dress.

My colour pallet is very close to yours, both in my wardrobe and in my home. I would like some advice about what trends you love that are suitable for someone of my advancing years. I was literally just about to ask this. I love clothes from Ted Baker, Reiss etc but I worry about buying them because I'll get a few wears and then I'll be frightened to wash them in case something goes wrong. (I have a lovely Jack Wills jumper which was only £25 in the sale but it's been sitting in a bag for months because I have to hand-wash it.)
