Try some thicker oil to quiet it down, possibly 5W40. I run 5W50 in my car because it's boosted and I don't have any tick.

@@Itsonlytwan don’t do that. These are modular motors with very specific bearing clearances, these cars are very picky between 5W 20 and 5W 30 let alone stepping all the way up into the 40s.. it is not gonna solve anything what you hearing is in the top end completely normal for these 3rd gen cars
