@@silver7428 he said it like that cause earlier in the movie he called her out for being a talented singer/songwriter who doesn't really live up to her potential and that at some point she will sing but not then. Then in this scene he's pretty much saying ok, this is your moment. She ends up getting on stage and singing another one of her songs after this scene. Please watch this movie, it's awesome
