I use a nail strengthener too. Right now I'm using Hard as Hoof.Try using Vitamin E oil for your cuticles, maybe it will help more :)

Yes they will. I use two coats of base coat. I guess it varies from person to person. And it gets worse if you, like me, have them painted all the time and/or use dark colors.

This is the only way I do my nails. I know I didn't sub yet, that's because my school has a rule for no polish but I secretly where a shear pink. I only sub channels like these when I can do my nails. But when I do my nails I use your prep tips. I'm sub ing now cause its 3 more days till spring break and I love your vids❤❤❤ can't wait!

Thanks. You should use base coat just on the tip, since you won't need it on the bed of the nail, and then apply top coat after fixing the smile line :)

I use a top coat from a Puerto Rican brand named Bettina. But you should get Seche Vite, it's really good, very glossy and super fast drying.

You could just soak your nails in warm water for 5 minutes. It will soften the cuticles and then you can push them back. You could also use vitamin E oil or any cuticle oil wait a few minutes and then push them back.

I change my manicure every 4 or 5 days because I get bore quickly. But if you use a good base coat and top coat it should lasts for at least a week.

I don't have a stamping kt, but it happens to my dotting tools and brushes. So what I do is rinse them with warm water and pat them dry after using the acetone :)

The lime/toothpaste paste is not a magic potion. It works with time and repetition. However, the yellow stain doesn't bother me because I have my nails polished all the time. And as I have them polished all the time, they get stain (even using two coats of base coat). So is a vicious circle, but again, it doesn't bother me.

Hi Linda, Fantastic tutorial type of video. I always thought a french manicure had to do with fake nails.... I wish I had fingernails like yours...all my life, I've had short little girl looking type nails, can't even see my half moon on nails :-/ and now, for some odd reason, my nails grow sooo slowly, that I don't bother to paint them or take care of them anymore. Nails don't grow faster than they usually do. What you can is do something to avoid breakage so you're nails keep their length. Use a nail strengthener (Sally Hansen have a few) and use cuticle oil (vitamin E, almond oil, etc) to keep your nails hydrated.

Is the hard as hoof working well for you? Also a quick whitening tip for the nails is doing a soak with vinegar and baking soda. I add a little olive oil in it too. It's helping the cuticles too I think.

I guess it depends on the quality of the nail polish and the application. A good nail polish and a thin application will last longer than a low quality nail polish that peels of quick and a thick application (too much nail polish). I can't tell you exactly because I change my manicure every 4 or 5 days.

Lo unico que quita el amarillo de las uñas 100% es dejarlas de pintar por un tiempo. Como yo no puedo tenerlas sin pintar, siempre se manchan un poco, aunque me ponga base. Pero tambien te puedo recomendar que si usas colores muy oscuros, te pongas dos capas de base para tratar de protegerlas mas.
