I am not going to reveal my age, but I am very young and I have loved doing my nails ever since I was very little. So for the past year or two I have been trying different types of ways to do nails. My sister wanted me to do her nails, (that’s what got me started on my journey). So I went through polygel, tips with gel, and more ways. I always thought that acrylic would be so hard, so I never ended up learning it, until now. This video was the start. Now I am able to do acrylics way easier with this video. to me if you file using the exact same count on each side you won't have a even looking nail. most people don't lay acrylic that even, its almost impossible. i personally don't count either i go by look as well. to each is own i guess. you do beautiful work natali!!

I believe u I kept watching so many videos and they just kept saying to keep paper towels near u but I still always spent most of the time cleaning my brush sometimes in-between every swipe ur the first person who said that u need a quality brush. I haven't been practicing in a while I lost a lot of products and stuff but when I build back up and get all my stuff I'm gonna invest in my stuff.

A good brush is definitely essential because if it’s not 100% kolinsky hairs it will not stay clean well

Might be a huge ask, but ever a chance you'd do a Y2K tutorial? I'm asking because so many technicians only know how to do 1 or 2 styles and don't even speak English... they all pretend they can't figure out how to do a thick, curved, square nail. It's ridiculous actually. Long, thick, ultra curved, super square, with deep sides, no tapering the sides. The sidewall curve also stays and matches the curve of the top. To many technicians are filing all the sides away and straightening them. AKA ghetto nails.

Be sure to not go any higher than 1-2,000 RPM on people who have thin nails. If anyone went that fast on my nail bed, half of it would be gone. Always be sure to check the bend and thickness of a nail before selecting a safe speed for that person/client. Always defualting to a higher speed can result in serious injury and someone who wont ever trust you to do their nails again. One speed that works for one client may hurt and traumatize another. Great video! Just wanted to give a warning to anyone learning for at home or self training!
