as much as i hated that pildo was killed, i do believe that his death was the reason she was able to kill mujin in the end. and his death was more something to set himself free from the guilt and the life that he led. i believe that he genuinly felt remorse for killing her father and took her in so that she would be his way out either in death or succession. this show took me two watches to be able to emotionally process it. there are a lot of things that require reading between the lines and looking at body language and the subtle changes in behavior. this show is still one of my favorites to come out of korean tv shows. the action was choreographed really well and the actress who played jiwoo worked her ass off. the cast i feel fit really well and i could not imagine another person to play them. thanks for checking this show out and your commentary was great.

Same I agree with you. Before Pildo dies, I believe he was able to convince her to turn herself in. It because he died, it flipped a switch inside of her that probably only saw rage. So Mujin knew what he was doing with that kill. And as much as we wanted to see a happy ending, this was her canon event😔

To be fair with Giho surviving getting stabbed, there was an NBA player that was stabbed 11 times in a club a month before the season started in 2000 and went on to play all 82 games that season as one of the best players in the world😅
