The chemistry between these two was undeniably obvious, there's no such word that can describe his affection and care towards her romantically like the way he looked at Jiwoo/Hyejin, that gazes. He even cross his own boundaries and did unusual turns which are very unlike him for the woman's sake. The fact that he only smiles at her and chose to trusted her for how many times the chances tested Jiwoo's loyalty, and doubt Taeju instead. Taeju was suspicious of Jiwoo to begin with she was the daughter of the man that Mujin killed. Mujin has nothing to gain from meddling in Jiwoo's revenge except from keeping an eye to her plans (monitoring her whereabouts) and be his eye in the cops, as saying goes "keep your enemies closer". And that worries Taeju, Mujin letting Jiwoo becomes his weakness and risking his safety and the organization in the bigger picture. The scene when he personally trained her was on another level, the chamomile tea that he drink despite of its unpleasant taste, the junkyard scene when he risks his safety to save Jiwoo from Gangjae alone, the anger he have towards Gangjae for trying to rape and harming Jiwoo, the escape thingy when he ask Jiwoo to leave the country for her safety and even get her a place to stay near the beach, the temple's scene where he only contacted Jiwoo of all people to visit him in that state, the way he smiled when he recognized Jiwoo's presence from distance, and when Mujin turned crazy and depressed when Jiwoo and Pildo slept together and said that "SHE SHOULD'VE COME TO ME" a couple of times? Guuurl, I don't know about ya or how dense you are to not feel that spark and romantic connection between them and keep saying that its only a father-daughter thing. I can vouch MY NAME that there's something more that a guilt and regrets in Mujin's eyes and gazes towards Hyejin/Jiwoo

Oh girl, I finally found someone who I'm 100% relate to! Everything you wrote is true! How is their relationship supposed to be like father and daughter with all those crazy chemistry scenes and the way Mujin looks at her. Yes, the thing with Pildo was really rushed, I remember being completely puzzled about how the hell did they get there with the sudden strong romantic feelings. It's sad that Jiwoo didn't see Mujin in the same way he did, because she became his whole world. The one thing he'll do anything to protect from. I believe that when Mujin lost himself it was because he knew he couldn't live without Jiwoo (that's what the actor said about them), but since Jiwoo found out about the truth, the only way they can continue their lives is if one of them is dead. Which was what Mujin wanted to avoid the most. At their fighting scene, I wanted to focus on how Mujin, who has more advantage, puts down his gun. He chooses to fight her face to face even though he knows he's still weak from his last battle and she knows his weakness. Yes, he fought back, but he knew Jiwoo will kill him, and he preferred that rather than continue living knowing he was the one who killed her. He knew no one was besides him and he is completely alone, and that broke him.

@@lostmoon1943 The fact that Mujin have his ways and every advantages to kill Jiwoo for his own safety but he don't. He chose to trained Jiwoo to be able to kill him in the end. He's sick of betrayal and unending fight to depend his power and the organization. The organization that he valued the most above anything else, but just like that he obviously surrendered to Jiwoo. So yeah you're right, he rather die than live in the world without Jiwoo, miserable and guilty.
