I had to do the big chop too, and I felt super insecure about how short my hair was and whenever I wore it out of the box braids it was in, people laughed the first time, but the second time I had my hair out people complimented me a lot, and I felt way better about myself and my hair LOVE YOUR HAIR AND YOURSELF!!!! ❤❤❤❤

I iron my hair every Saturday or Sunday of the week. Honestly I don't like doing it but at the same time yes... I don't like it because it mistreats my hair but I like it because it's not difficult to style and I can do whatever I want quickly. Sometimes I feel like I look bad with my natural hair even though it's beautiful.

me too, I straightened my hair a lot but I promised myself not to do it again (which I don't do anymore) but I made braids all over my head and I cut too short because I had additions and since my hair is short and doesn't grow back anymore and I think I don't have the right hair routine PS: I have the same hair as you but shorter.

im so sad bc whenever i look up curly hair styles/tips its always these gorgeous black women with an incredible amount of hair and lots of good brand recommendations that work on their hair but im middle eastern and the whole thing is just really different, like all the physics and dynamics of our hair are very different and i cant seem to find any good styles or tips from middle eastern girls with shoulder length hair 😢
