Thanks for the update in the rain. I find these pools awesome and am also stupidly thinking of building one in the woods. It seems like skimmers and a yearly vacuum keeps it pretty clear.

What do you recommend for mosquitos in the water ?

The pool actually has a bunch of natural predators for mosquitoes and mosquito larvae. Frogs, tadpoles, dragonflies, dragonfly nymphs, salamanders all live in there and eat them. Our mosquito population around the pool is virtually 0 since we put it in.

It uses a planted perimeter and 2 top skimmers powered with air lift pumps for filtration.
