I know I will probably get attacked for saying this but his wife is hella ungrateful. I don't care if saying "I love you" or being grateful is not part of your culture but some things like common APPRECIATION are important in a relationship. He seems to be doing so much and yet she still has the audacity to nag him about finding work. Girllll how about you go to Spain or any other country and try getting a job in your field. I hope she puts in effort in the relationship before its too late.

She does put in effort and seems to really love him. I agree she didn't have to nag about the job thing but she did agree to starting a massage cafe because he wanted to. The awkwardness with her not expressing her feelings is just because of her personality and she tried to change it.

The thing that bothered me most was her berating him in front of her parents. No adult should have to be taunted in front of their in-laws - it's a simple thing to learn. I think he seems to go out of his way for her and I'm surprised honestly by how quickly they came to Korea - I would have assumed she'd support him till he was able to learn Korean - like a number of other couples in this series have when they request their family move to Korea.

J Bang yeah well, if you have to lower your living standards significantly and can't do the profession you love, I'd say those are factors that make you unhappy. And the point is not how long they were there but rather how long the whole moving process took. The way they described it, they just basically packed their bags and left. I'm sure there was an intesive language course somewherr he could've taken to at least be at a decent level of Korean and be eligible for work before they left.

Also, people move - she met him there whilst she was studying - so she wanted to go abroad initially - assuming, she didn't try very hard to settle in - no country is easy for anyone to settle into - but they should've come to a proper compromise before up and leaving. You can't blame him solely for not learning Korean - if you saw his day it's pretty chaotic - I think you're being too judgemental and rude, if you haven't walked a mile in someone else's shoes you shouldn't speak about them.

lol, Kevin is in Spanish time when serving his dinner, because 9 pm is not that late to eat dinner in Spain. I remember when I was in Madrid, I wanted to eat dinner at 7 pm, but couldn't find any restaurant in the area I was staying that would serve me dinner . The owner took pity on me and let me eat tapas instead. Mind, I was the only one in there and the restaurant section wasn't even opened yet. Kevin is such a happy, talkative guy and a great compliment to his wife. He knows how to cook, does housework, affectionate to his in-laws/family, and diligent. His parents raised him well. I'd love to have a taste of that paella, that jamon and frittata.

Love the show doesn't matter if it scripted or not it deals with reality, everyone's common struggles which is to succeed and attain good quality of life. Nothing against Korea, but I wouldn't' choose it to relocate to for the simple fact is their work/lifestyle ethic seems very rushed high pressured working very long hours.

아내가 너무 배려가 없는것같다. 한국에온지 얼마안된것에 비하면 한국어도 잘하는편이고 아내를 배려해서 모든걸 포기하고 한국에왔는데...케빈에게 아내가 아닌 선생님처럼 대하는것같다. 다른 외국인들 5년 이상되어도 한국말 못하는 사람많다. 케빈에게 좀더 따뜻하게 대하고 기다려줬으면좋겠다. 20대도 아니고 외국나가서 문화차이 언어적응이 쉬운줄아나? 케빈이 착하고 인간적이라 참고있는것같다. 아내가 잔소리 덜하고좀더 상냥하게 대했으면좋겠다.
