Maybe I'm looking for it or seeing what I want, when I want. But I swear I could hear the mental snap when Clay first talked to the neighbors and was saying what they were doing. It's like you feel him slightly crack and it just stays at that same level so you don't realize he's slowly going deeper in all aspects not just actual dirt. It's the little things man. I know I've told you a dozen times but man every single story you give me a shining example. Lucas, the story was great. I'd like to express how original the story felt. We've seemingly been trapped in a decade of rehash/remakes. This story was great and doesn't feel like another story I've listed to. Thanks to you both

One really really good sign you're writing great material...... Around 20/24 minute mark, sitting here thinking Jesus man how much further into the hole now? Literally on the edge of my seat to hear how it ends. Ignorant to how far in I am, the end?? Nah bro, you've got like an hour left. I've already listened twice tonight.

When I lived in an apartment in Seattle, the couple across the street always left their front room blinds open. One day, I noticed they were closed and remained that way for a week, until the police came. It turned out the husband had murdered his wife, and left her body in the apartment. It was because she had started to decompose, that the murder was discovered. The husband was arrested, and remains in jail.

This was actually the greatest horror story I've heard narrated on any channel! It was surreal, mysterious, descriptive, symbolic in places, the characters were engagibg, and best of all, the PERFECT level of detail where things are described well, but just enough mental wiggle room is left to allow our minds to fill in the blanks! Absolute masterpiece!

WOW this story!! not at _all_ what I expected. i love how truly surreal the whole subterranean experience was, while still being connected by its themes. It didn't even hit me until I started writing this comment that the ship flying around and the rain of glass was linked to Harold smashing all the little ships in bottles that he'd built. and of course the narration adds so much to the story!! this whole thing is a masterpiece, definitely a new fav for me.

Loved this one, although I anticipated it was Harold's mind. Loved how Clay and the lady escaped by working together, but an explanation of what they found of Harold at the end would have been great. Also, how do people go to jail for mass hysteria? What charges could have been laid for digging a hole with neighbors? That seemed off to me.

Beautiful LH. Sad, crazy, debilitating. All the anarchy of divorce. Your choice of music score was so sympathetic to the narrative. I have always thought of music as the art of punctuating silence, you take this notion to the next level and with your eye for quality writing and an ear for an accompanying musical score present to us not just narration but something that causes me to mentally experience audio visual compositions. To out it bluntly, listening to you narrate such wonderful stories as this is as close to dropping acid as I have ever came without the little square of card! As always, thank you for such excellent work.

I expected the ending to be that everyone got either high as a kite on edibles or something and everyone who "died" got out of the trance first, or that some toxic fumes engulfed the neighborhood and they also just hallucinated, and people actually died but they perceived it in a totally different way, and those "tentacle" thingys were scientists/medical staff in Hazmats taking the dead bodies away. Marriage is work like all relationships- whether friend, family, children, co-workers, platoon (even). But the work & sacrifice can bring such joy & fullness. Communication, understanding, empathy are essential (& in truth, is essential in all relationships). Been married 19years this May 11th. It has had ups and downs, and there does seem to be more stress at the 5-7yr anniversary, and it seems like a second wave for divorce is when the kids leave and life returns to pre-kid days.

YESSSSSSS!!!!! Now this is what I was asking for! This is what I was begging for in the comments of that silly cat dragon story! This is why I'm subscribed to the lighthouse, this is the nightmare I desire. Thank you for this story. Thank you for refreshing my faith's reunification.

I am always impressed by your amazing talent to convey a good story. You really make my imagination work, I can picture the characters and backdrop of the world that we are brought to. It’s always been a great escape from all of bs that we are going through lately in this very messed page of our lives!!
