The tiger-headed man "Keibu Keioiba" is an indonesian myth; the myth basically says he was an old sorcerer who wanted to be as strong as a tiger, but in a man's body. He ended up casting a spell on himself to become this powerful thing but ended up a hybrid man-beast, with tiger arms, tiger head and tiger torso. Realizing he turned himself into a frosted flakes mascot, keibu tried to reverse the change, but it was too late...as his intelligence was no longer that of a man but that of a tiger. He could not remember how to remove the spell he had cast.

So... the Door Man is benevolent towards his believers. He didn't harm those who had misfortune befall them. He's not bad. It's creepy and so frightening that its viewers pass out on sight, sure, but positively karmic. I like the Door Man. He is welcome in my home.

Hello Clancy, I just want to thank you for such a wonderful narration of this benevolent avenger. You may not know the significance of telling the tale might be- but through it you have helped some of your younger listeners with their demons. Keep spreading the gospel of the macabre. -the Wicked Man

this reminds me of a "guardian demon" story i once heard: The demon will attach it's self to a baby and watch over them for their entire life by killing anyone who poses a threat to the person in the most brutal and bloody way possible (any threat even play fighting and Covid-19) I don't think it's a creepypasta but more of an urban legend

Example = You live by yourself, a man broke into your house to kill you. You heard the entry, so you think of the Door Man. In a few moments, sure your house will be set on fire, but you are guaranteed to get out alive. That way, the guy who wanted to kill you will disappear from the normal dimensional plain
