This is a brief review of my Nevsetpo KWE-PM01-UK Power Meter.

You need to input your Kw cost to get it to give you a cost readout . Hold the cost button down until it flashes, and then you the function button to move across the numbers and then use the up/down keys to enter the figures i.e. 00.34

Seeing as I`ve reduced my electricity usage by a third in the last 3 years, yet I`m now paying 4 times more than I was back then, I think its time to get one of these... If only to use the figures to use against my energy provider (Scottish Power).

Hello John! Watt is all this aboot? loooool. I don't need one of these to know that my elecy is soon gonna cost 5h15l0ad5 and we are all soon gonna be bent over backward and shafted by the energy companies and the bent regulator Ofgem is allowing it... I would also consider maybe getting an extra lock for your front door and maybe a doorbell camera soon because burglaries and crime will be on the rise once the prices get hiked through the roof.

@@John_B_Gage Sadly I wasn't, mate, as I decided to go to the Gym as I was bored lol. Glad you got a Ring doorbell mate. It's a good deterrent. I've got one and could not do without it.

Regarding the Energy Meter, I hereby request the following information. I know the meter has a battery. My question is: Does the consumption meter work even without the battery or with a dead battery? Basically, it is to know if the battery is only used to store the data, e.g. the value of the KWh or on the contrary is it necessary for the operation and power supply of the display? I intend to use the Energy Meter not to know the value of the cost of energy but to know the value of the Power, Voltage, Current Intensity (A) and Power Factor of the device that I connect to the meter. So I don't care if the device runs on batteries alone and that I have to replace them when they run out.

I don't think this has a battery.

@@John_B_Gage It has a battery but it is soldered to the meter's electronic circuit board. I already know that when the battery runs out and fails, it is either replaced or the meter does not work.

I had this plugged into my printer that was in sleep mode for a 24 hour period. When I looked at the cost it said 1.50. Probably a stupid question but is that 1.5 pence or £1.50?

I would hope that would be 1.5 pence if it's been on standby for 24 hours. £1.50, I would switch off my printer.

@@John_B_Gage I did just that when I saw it was 1.5. & multiplied that by 365 on my calculator and it came to 547.5. I thought nearly £550, just to leave it on! Then I thought wait a minute!!!! That cannot be right!!!!!! 😳

@@andyrands Sorry but your math is not good!!! If it’s 1.5p that’s £5 & 47.5pence per year (365 days). If it’s £1.50 that’s £547 & 50pence! Neither of them are £54 & 50pence!

You have entered the cost per unit wrong, easily done, the cost per unit will be about 38.46p per kWh these days so 00.38 on the monitor.

The manual is terrible and your video would be more useful if you could clearly go through the settings at the beginning! I cannot find a single video on this product that shows how to set it up and monitor the comnsumption.

this is Accumulated time the monitor is on gets to 24 then you get 1 day at the bottom and clock back to zero and counting glad to help
