Good luck with the bulldozer. I have my since 2017 and it still runs great. finally changed the tracks I wore out the orignal tracks. Change the radio, changed the speed controler to a sabertooth esc I installed a cooling system. I know this video is a year old but you will have a lot of fun with this beast.

congrats! On mine when I mixed the tracks unfortunately one motor naturally spins a little faster than the other so went back to two sticks. Also turned the end points of the tracks to ~50% to slow it down and reduce stress on the planetaries. I have the blade tilt and ripper tilt on the rotary dials to since they arent used as much.

All I did was adjust the end points. The factory set endpoints were way off.

I have no idea where it came from originally, but the EC160E has passed through 2 sets of hands before I got it. I honestly do not know why anyone would buy something only to turn around and sell it right away or keep it for a little while and never use it. A lot of impulse buys to just let something sit on a shelf. Usually if you can purchase those un-used impulse buys you can get the best deals. 😉

Quel avantage de mettre de l'hydrolique sur ces modèles, pour les vendre beaucoup beaucoup plus cher qu'en tout électrique ? et en une plus une mécanique trop fragile ?

Hydraulic to me equals realism, power, and strength. If I have to choose between an all metal model over plastic, I prefer metal most of the time. This dozer weighs it at nearly 70 lbs, and it is hard to get plastic to weigh that much, and weight means real pushing power. This is just my opinion on all this as many have a different philosophy. Using electric, instead of hydraulic is cheaper, and in the end, you get what you pay for. Also, using electric linear actuators takes away some scale accuracy and realism. Some people find that important. It's hard to make a small electric motor to have the power of hydraulic fluid.

Pour moi, l’hydraulique est synonyme de réalisme, de puissance et de force. Si je dois choisir entre un modèle entièrement en métal ou en plastique, je préfère le métal la plupart du temps. Ce bulldozer pèse près de 70 livres, et il est difficile de faire peser autant de plastique, et le poids signifie une véritable puissance de poussée. Ce n'est que mon avis sur tout cela car beaucoup ont une philosophie différente. Utiliser l’électrique plutôt que l’hydraulique est moins cher et, en fin de compte, vous en avez pour votre argent. De plus, l’utilisation d’actionneurs linéaires électriques enlève une certaine précision et un certain réalisme à l’échelle. Certaines personnes trouvent cela important. Il est difficile de fabriquer un petit moteur électrique qui ait la puissance d'un fluide hydraulique.
