Honestly not that bad you can make some custom door cards for cheap and there's plenty of tutorials on youtube. Keep it gutted maybe put some racing seats in it and try ur hand at doing a spray can paint job. A guy named moore motorsports/ Texas Honda channel has tutorials and u can get good results for cheap. As far as replacement parts go the junkyard is gonna be your friend but you can definitely make it a solid reliable car without investing too much if you get creative. Goodluck!

Haha😂 it’s not exactly LEGAL to drive without a license plate, but you gotta get the car home somehow! A police officer actually passed us on the highway and didn’t seem to care.

Quite the project you get yourself into, hope you know alot about cars. If not you will need to learn alot pretty quick. Alot wrong with this shit bucket, but thats whats great about first cars. Just go out get something fun and learn. But fr you gotta fix that thing to the moon and back. Aloooooooot of work and alot more money that will be spent fixing this thing up to be a bout again... I bought the same car earlier this year for $800 it had a code for knock sensor & a bypassed heater core. I flipped it for $1200 in one day. I’ve gotten tons of running and driving Hondas this past year for under $1000

If the exhaust actually goes to the back of the car and loops around, get an exhaust shop to chop it off at the rear, weld in a Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator (you'll need to measure the diameter of the pipe underneath the car and buy the correct size resonator), and just have a single exit 4" muffler out the back. You mustn't skip the Vibrant UQR, otherwise it will sound absolutely AWFUL lmao

I had a 1998 Honda Accord EX 5-speed manual in sedan version as my 2nd car from 2013-2017. It had 110,020 miles when I first brought it, and it had 118,000+ miles on it when I retired it in 2017. It had the 2.3L (F23A1) 4cyl engine & P2A8 manual 5-speed transmission. It ran great the whole time I had it. It even had leather interior which was in good shape for a 1998. The car was in good shape for a 1998.

I’ve had a 4 speed manual EF hatch on the floor with the 13 inch steelies. It was like butter driving. I had a 170k mile TL 6MT it drove like ish it was bouncy lol. I had a 00 CRV 5 speed misfiring on all cylinders mf pulled hard I had a 04 Accord Coupe 6MT misfiring on all cylinders I would smoke Harley’s with that thing.
