Just a tip from an experience we had years ago . My Mom was washing tennis shoes to close to tent and it took the waterproofing out of tent. We woke up floating after a storm. My Dad painted it with water proofing. Maybe tents are made of different materials now and the bleach won't affect it. Another safety feature I highly recommend is new tires. Unless you know exactly how old they are, maybe dry rotted! Love watching your channel! West Virginia sure is Beautiful. Love the mountains!

As a fellow owner of a 2004 Silverado, the view of US 119 Corridor G over that familiar dash made me a little homesick! Hope the camper serves y'all well and you get a lot of good use out of it. Looks like it hasn't seen a whole lot of use inside. My wife has been toying with the idea of us getting a 1950s era camper to restore. She's partial to the old Airstreams and Spartans, but the problem is having somewhere to keep it when you're not using it. At least with a pop-up, it doesn't take up a lot of space.

My Pop taught us that if we take care of our vehicles, our vehicles will take care of us. I still drive a 1998 Isuzu Trooper. Darn near 300K miles on it. Gets me all over the Ozark mountains and all places in between!!!! I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for making these videos.

Make sure the axels are in good shape and greased. We had the same size a Jaco and got a flat tire it fell of sideways and drug for a wile. Messed up the axel. All because the lug nuts came loose. MAKE SURE to get a lug nut rench and tighten them every couple of miles on a trip. Those small wheels come loose easy.

My parents were pop up tent campers and thats the best camping there is especially in the mountains. Nice and cool and perfect in the rain. Yall will enjoy it!

I'm jealous I miss camping. LOL Growing up we had a Terry travel trailer. We would traveled to see our family in Florida, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania in our trailer. After so many years it was hard for me as an adult to learn to use a public bathroom after having the trailer most of my life. LOL

I go the speed limit but I don't exceed it by more than 5 mph because I have much better things to do with 300 + dollars than to pay a speeding ticket. My sister was here visiting me last year & it cost over $300.

Start off on the cool side with the heater, the heat can build up on those ceilings and do damage. Start off with ceiling vent open to let some heat out. By all means get a CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM. Have fun you two. 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Ah! Ha! Are you on Rt. 19? Looks like you are on I-77. Anyway the highway looks familiar. I would love to be able to still camp instead of a motel. The last time that I did stay in a motel I ended up with 30+ bedbug bites. I owned a 17 ft. camper and then a 35 ft which were parked in a campground. Loved them both.The scenery is beautiful in that area year round, thank you for sharing.
