My new bikes first big trip... To Spain! | EP1

I took my new KTM 1290 Super Adventure R to Spain.
I rode through Le Trou du Curé, France. On my way to Cardona in Spain for my first night on my way south. It started off pretty chilly and was then followed by cool sunshine the further into northern Spain I got.
This is the first episode of approximately 6-7 I will create from the footage I took. Hopefully the next one isn't too far behind when I get time.

Le Tou du Cure, had to look that up, is that in Ardennes Belgium, was a bit confused given youre heading to Spain. What as your route from the tunnel to Spain?

@@lovegar hey, it's here maps.app.goo.gl/96nHrryHFkFn7vfBA I travelled all day from the tunnel following my gps to just north of Toulouse where I had a hotel for the night.. Then the next day I went south to Spain.

Did your 1290 Super Adventures also suffered from a short (0.5 second) abruptly "missfire/cut-out" when opening the throttle at about 3000 rpm and then runs smoothly again? Cheers.

I have had this on occasion and its using the quick shifter but not using quite enough force to engage it properly... maybe the issue you had...

​@@MrBrico001I have had this issues yes, but I think that's the nature of quick shifters, there is definitely a sweet spot to change gears with it. And it's definitely not low in the revs. Boots can have a bit of an affect on it too I think, due to the space inside the front when lifting your toes against the lever, you can easily not give it a full press. Causing some jolting when changing

How many l/km does at your pace?

Hey, I'm not sure what l/km but in mpg I probably averaged 49-52mpg per day depending on how I rode. I tried to do about 200 miles per day.
