Even though the design is still taking time to grow on me, I think the G87 has potential to be a classic due to it's wheel base and having the S58. I have a feeling an M2 Comp will come out in 2-3 years as BMW bids farewell to the M2 as their last (in their words) ICE engine. Excited to see what an M2 Comp would look like.

Would you recommend the M2 over the G80? I want and prefer the G80 but the M2 fits my budget a bit more

Now that I’ve spent more time with the M2, I actually prefer it over the G80. The M2 is just a special car man and it’s hard to justify the large price difference.

Bigger tires will help the car hook better. and it will fixing the spacing offset by bringing the tires out.

That M2 is so much nicer than the M3 the Harmam Soundsystem in the M3. It’s just because it’s that brand of sound it sucks. When you start modifying the M2, can’t wait to see it and hear it.

That's a tough one for sure man. I would say it depends on how you intend to use the car. If it's a daily driver then it might make more sense to just go with the G80. If it's not a daily then I would go M2. Can't go wrong either way though.

Two different applications in my opinion. PPF will help protect you from rock chips. Ceramic coating will help protect from the sun and makes washing the car a breeze and makes the car really pop.

I'd probably also go auto because ever since the F series, the MT's seem to be going downhill 😢 my E92 M3 clutch is great but I really hate my F87 M2 clutch/transmission. The ZF in the wife's X3 M40i is pretty damn good tho!

@@micraw714 if I would want to buy auto it would be a brand new C8, used gtr or 911. Manual was one of the reasons why I ordered an M2. There are not too many manuals left.

My neighbor has a new M3 competition in that really nice orange color with thr sick black wheels, but the actual car is so ugly in front that it's almost to the point where I have to look away. I walk by it every single morning to me if you're sad what they've done to these models.
