I am considering the exact same bike swap. I have a 2000 K1200RS and really like it, but I'm 58 years old and starting to feel my age on long rides, yet I don't like "old man" bikes I'm 6', 220 lbs How do you find the comfort of the GT? Seat height? Bar height? Peg height?

@@bryanderksen4448 I am One year "younger" 😉. I have just done a weekend trip to Harzen in Germany, 800 km from where I live, and off course 800 km home. The trip down i did spilt in 2 as I was driving late from home. The ride home was just ridning all the way with no overnights. Took me 12 hours with pauses, no pain at all. Of course my bum was a little bit tired. The seat hight is 800-820, I love this bike, enough power, comfort is perfect.

@@bryanderksen4448 Even though it is heavy at stilstand, it take the curves like a sports bike...so much fun for us "old" on "old man" bike 🤣
