Nice congrats. I’ve got an M2C in black with the black wheels. I went with the manual though. In fact that was the biggest reason I went with the M2 over the RS3. Can’t say I’m really into aftermarket stuff personally but to each their own Definitely a fun car though. I’m sure you’ll love it

A nice intro! I have the same car in Hockenheim silver but, I'm more into stealthy mods - with the exception of the rear muffler. There are as many as 12 aftermarket companies offering an alternative addressing that ridiculous looking thing hanging out the back and dominating the rear landscape of the vehicle. So CHANGE that and if $$$$ are a concern for you then at the very least, paint it BLACK! Changing the Chargepipes is a good idea from an insurance point of view as the factory plastic ones have been known to fail over the years. You may also consider a stage 1 tune and I can honestly tell you that it is the 'Best bang for buck' mod I've done to the car. We're talking around a hundred horsepower gain! However, consider any warranty remaining on the car before venturing down this path! The final mod that is also worth considering are a set of decent tyres all round when the current ones on the car have had their day. Especially with the added performance - the wider the footprint the better. You can go as wide as 285 mm on the rear (on the standard rim) without rubbing and the tyre of choice - either Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or the new Cup 2 Connect. You are now ready to frighten some serious performance cars out there! Enjoy!

Yes I totally agree with you about the rear muffler! What option did you go with? Yeah definitely Chargepipes are a must on Turbo BMWs. What tune did you go with Ive read into Bootmod3 or MHD what are your thoughts? Car currently has Michelin Pilot Sport 4s all around they seem to be perfect for this car.

@@csr_garage_2899 I went with an Eisenmann slip on system that’s fully integrated with the factory buttons on the steering wheel. I’m very happy on all four counts - looks awesome, sounds better imo, is lighter and less restrictive allowing for a few more ponies. You’ll hear a lot of talk about the Akrapovic system and yes it is brilliant but, imo not worth the huge price difference. The tune is from ESS tuning and I’ve heard good things about Bootmod3 especially if you like to chop and change parameters and features in your tune. Plus it allows you to add additional maps etc... but it’s cloud based and was concerned should I have any issues. Just old school I guess where I could take it back to a person should such a thing arise.

Save your money, leave it as it is, mine is silver but I did add the sport steering wheel and pedals, that’s it, nothing else needed.

I just ordered the pedals! Did you get the electronic steering wheel?

@@csr_garage_2899 hi, no I got the sport steering wheel which has the blue 12 o’clock reference marker, carbon fibre trim, alcantara and leather rim. The steering wheel is a lot thicker than the standard but you get use to it. It looks great, more sporty, all the buttons etc of the original are fitted to the new.

Upgrading the steering wheel is definitely on my list! I like the CS Steering wheel but I believe it deletes the heated wheel feature

you should get the black m2 cs wheels.

That’s definitely my plan either the black cs wheels or some BBS wheels
