I think Plymouth ARE worse than Cardiff . Cardiff sort out the manager position and The Bluebirds WILL finish lower mid table. Last three games without Bulet has seen a huge improvement. Darland is back from injury too.

Predictions are pretty solid! I do think you've undersold Plymouth, I'm not convinced totally on Rooney yet either but I can't say they've not shown enough to survive at the very least. I agree with the top 7 but my gut wouldn't have Norwich in the top 2 just yet. This league is mad there's going to be a lot more twists and turns. Mid table is what it is, as a Wednesday fan I'd be very happy with top half. Let's see. Top marks for the Inter shirt.

A very honest appraisal. I don’t like to hear that my beloved Oxford United will be in the bottom three but sometimes you have to face reality. I see a lot of comments below from Plymouth fans but you are completely right about them under Wayne Rooney. I suppose I at least have the good grace to accept our fate. This is a tough league and for those bottom 5 ,performances have not been good enough. Maybe Coventry should look over their shoulder too, wrong appointment Lampard.

I see the concerns about Watford's squad depth elsewhere too. I personally don't share them. There's depth and flexibility in the squad so, whilst I do think the current league table is flattering, I really don't see us dropping as low as 16th.

I think West Brom will struggle to finish 6th and 7th. Let's see though, nothing is impossible. Sunderland best team Leeds have played this season by a decent distance, that's including away games at Norwich and West Brom and home games against Burnley and Coventry. Leeds maybe yet to fire, but have been incredibly unlucky with some of the points dropped. Meslier at Sunderland and Solomon slipping for the Burnley winner has cost us a minimum of 3 extra points. I think Sheffield United, Leeds, Sunderland and Burnley to challenge for the top 2 spots.

You’re the best team we (Sunderland) have faced by quite some distance too it has to be said. I still doubt we will get automatics as I need to see if we’ll be consistent or not but I still see some fans underestimate the quality within our team. Mundle, Roberts, Rigg, Bellingham, Neil, Mepham, Hume, Cirkin, O’Nein etc and that’s just off the top of my head. Of course we could fall out of them altogether but I’d be annoyed not to get playoffs at the very least. And I feel we’re more than good enough to as well. Leeds will still win the league for me.

It's not the same to see your team week in week out and see the dynamic evolving as it is to, at best, catch the highlights and read the press, which is all that can be expected if you're trying to follow 24 teams (or probably more!). Ryan, like other neutrals is obviously influenced by the expectations of teams coming into the season, which are difficult to shake off, and in the case of Argyle, by Rooney's disastrous spell at Birmingham. We've seen the change and the potential, but that's because we follow every game closely. Ryan and other neutrals don't have that insight and so logically will need more convincing. Time will tell!

We've played 3 of the top 4, having beaten 1 of them and playing some nice stuff and he's tipping us to go down based off Whittaker and Cissoko breaking their legs and that we'll create less and let the opposition score more. He's gone worst case scenario for us and best case for other clubs

Lots of bold predictions like Norwich and Burnley. Yes, the latter seem a bit flat now but I still think that they'll at least get top 4 'cause they're very solid. At the bottom I'm concerned about Pompey as they lack experience at this level, and it shows. Plus they need at least one proven Championship striker, which they now won't have until January.

I think Plymouth will finish higher than you’ve predicted and have played some good football and are quite tough to play at home especially, Sunderland will finish above Norwich for me- I think Boro Sunderland, Leeds, Sheff United and Burnley top 5 fighting for the two automatic places and will be close finish

Your analysis is completely off the mark for Argyle. Rooney has taken time to implement his ideas, as youd expect. Hes got the team playing the best football Ive seen in years. Early days, if we can keep the consistency at home, we can fear no-one. Providing we can add a couple of players in January, and keep our stars until the end of the season, weve got enough to be challenging for mid table early days

Brenden Galloway has played well for Plymouth in the defense but others are not up to par. Also Hazard is injured; going down. Oxford wont go down bc their attack creates so much. Derby the same but instead the defense is their saving grace. Blades win the league and the next 5 positions are too close to call.
