I made my powerstation, around 1700Wh with a 1200w inverter. It can run my home fridge, around 350 liters, for almost 2 days. It is a reasonable back up. Everyone should have one.

On the car charger you are limited to 100W charging. Also make sure your car socket does not supply more than 8amps. For example my Jeep supplies 13amp. Solar charging is limited to up to 10amp per port not to exceed 16 amp across all three ports. Open-voltage of the solar panel should not exceed 30V. All in all nice package and I love mine.

In a SHTF situation, a drone with some backup batteries, is a game changer for assessing the surroundings and reconnaisance activities. Nothing compares with God's Eye from the sky. And the power backup station, good move with that one as well. Best wishes and Peace on Earth to everyone !!!

Nothing like a noisy drone to attract attention too.😂😉
@brainbyte39707 ай бұрын
@@ozedude7082 Correct !!! But you have to play it smart. The take off and landing spots should be different from one another, as most semi-professional drones support this feature, and nobody said that you will have to fly the drone from the front porch of your house, or in the very close proximity of your base location. Just my 2 cents, and food for thought. Best regards :) .

Excellent video Lily. Recently a powerful storm came through my area and the drone helped survey damage. These power stations are very useful, I also use mine for the electric chainsaws, power saws and power the refrigerator. Mexico recently experienced a very bad hot climate wave. Many extensive power and water outages. My elder relatives living there used power stations for their CPAPs, fans and small refrigerators. Thank you for your work and energy, this is world wide.

In the US if a you live in the south west solar panels will often put out 100% of there rated out put - I live in the deep sout US the humidity is always around 60% so solar panels at times will only generate 20% of there rated out put - there are days at noon time they will generate 50% of there rated out put for about 2 hrs - Also there are months at times of cloud cover - in that case you might think about sizing a inverter generator to the power station - Hybrid generating power systems can be very fuel efficent with light loads -
@stevesheridan35117 ай бұрын
This has the same problem so many stations have...not enough solar input! My other issue is a 2200 watt inverter, with 1024 watt hour storage??? With 400w solar to go in? Good other features, but I'd expect better from you!
@DonalldArmentor7 ай бұрын
400 watts of panels X 5 hours of average sun should be able to recharge a 1 KWh battery twice in a day. Especially if only discharged to 20%. Doubling input to 800 total watts in will recharge in only 1.5 to 2 hours. Realize this is still a small amount of capacity. 2 kWh is only medium capacity. Only limited items powered is practical with these units. Refrigerator and freezers or lights and fans. This unit would be enough for my energy star manual defrost 7cu ft chest freezer for 24 hours.

could that thing be used as an UPS i wonder.. guess its limited to 1200w.. so you couldnt run a more than 1200w thing through it, it would drain the battery.. charging at 85w with the solarpanels there.. how long would it take to charge it 10%
@TheRealMichelleElynHogan6 ай бұрын
That is a very broad question. First, using it as a power source, you would not need a UPS as well. It will provide clean power, depending on the quality of the onboard inverter going from battery to AC out. Regarding solar charging, an 85w panel would take a couple of days, depending on conditions. A sunny day with passing clouds could take even longer. I have an 85 w panel from Bluetti and its performance is underwhelming.

I'm a few watts short of a light bulb myself, so I need some advice. If you have a cheap 1000 watt power box and you wanted to run a small chest freezer for an hour, just to keep things frozen for another day, would running it during daylight with solar panels increase the power output during that hour, or would it just be charging the battery back to capacity? Thank you.

In Australia, its about $0.40/day service fee + $0.35/kilowatt hour. Australia exports cheap natural gas to Japan and cheap coal to China, but the greenies here in Australia are demanding we close our coal power plants so that we (a population of 26 million) can save the planet.
