The Formula Cura is the exact opposite of every magura brake out there. Its made from metal and is consistent like nothing else. Maguras on the other hand are overpriced pieces of plastic with a bitepoint that wanders all over the place. Only one of my mtb friends has no issues with magura brakes, but she is also quite light and rides XC, other than her we all switched to Shimano, Hope and Formula. Even when you take the in our oppinion very questionable perfromance out of the equasion, the brake is still made from plastic, so you can quickly strip the threads. I would like to support Magura, since its a local brand, but their performance does not justify the price tag.

I have a ghost slammr and really like it. The trails in the Colorado Rockies are steep. With the slack headtube and longer wheelbase, the bike is so fun to ride. The first time I ever rode it down my favorite downhill trail, I was 9 seconds faster than my best ever time. Sweet video Sam!!

Love the new ride, still rocking a Norco atomik vps, with marazocchi junior T 03's on front and a fox back shox just no preload. Mines silver n blue with, Michelin country A.T. 2.0 on the front. And a continental Xking 2.2 on the back. Looking to upgrade my rear shox soon, and looking for an Xking in a 2.4, they are amazing in the snow.
