...phew... well this is probably my personal favorite rack i have ever seen in all my days on youtube learning synthesis. it is by no means a rack you would just end up with by spendingg days on muffs and modular grid intellectualizing. this took years of exploring the depths of synthesis. there is often advice given out to most beginners along the lines of "well what kind of sounds do you want to make??" which is good advice but i think sometimes it takes a very long time to even answer that question. and sometimes to answer it, you just gotta dive in. and after many days in the pits of the sonic mines, a rack like this evolves. so for anyone on the fence, just start doing it. 🔥🐐❤️💖🤠🤙💖❤️🐐🔥

I have basically done this so far, only a few months in and aside from everything being sold out, I'm loving taking my time and exploring what I have before moving into something new and flashy and cool. I think it's easy to see modular as simple and easy but I think it's like aby other instrument that you have to learn, practice, and develop your own style with.

I enjoy all of your content, but there’s just something especially nice whenever you enlighten all of us about modular synths and patching techniques. Also, I have to say that your current configuration of modules in this system just makes sense. It is indeed a very balanced modular synth, and complementary to your sound. I eagerly look forward to all you’ll create with it! :)

I'm pretty sure you can make any set of modules create your "voice" or style. There's a level of synthesis and pattern / time creation at a wonderful level of ability. I tend to think about how I can turn any instrument into a rhythmic beat. Loved these patches. You really made Maths shine in these patches. I have no idea what the Drezno does or how I would use it. The Panharmonium is interesting, but I cant tell if I would just end making a synth sound from any sample I run through it, which seems, I dont know, excessive? I would love to see more about it. And, I would love to see more videos on using spoken word in music. Be it sliced up or mangled and synthesized. Thanks!

Love this system! Sounds so rich and deep. Can’t wait to see the Panharmonium video, it’s one of my fave modules. I noticed you were running a lot of your signals in mono, and there wasn’t anything in your system for stereo panning, but your mix had such a great image. How were you mixing everything ‘ what were you mixing with? And we’re you adding any reverb/delay etc. in post or off camera?

Just based on what I see, he most likely ran most of his modules straight into that 4-track, did his panning in there, then into the Alesis wedge, which is one of the best Reverbs out there
