I would say start from at the least the first album as they play as a trilogy telling the story about a toxic relationship between Vessel (the lead singer) and the deity Sleep. Whatever you do please do not listen to Euclid until the very end as to here that song without the context of what came before really takes away from the song. Don't get me wrong Euclid is still an amazing song just as a one off but the emotion you will feel if you leave it until the end will truly blow you away. The EP's are a great listen but could be considered more of a bonus listen once you have finished the core trilogy. If you only wanted to react to a few songs I'd say Take me Back to Eden, Ascenionism, Chokehold, Rain, Atlantic, The Love you Want, Higher, Alkaline, Dark Signs, Hypnosis, Blood Sport (from the room below version) and the Offering are all great choices. Here for the ride whichever route you choose. Worship!

Vessel is *always* this good lyrically. He writes the majority of the band's lyrics, but some are co-written with II (2), their drummer. As some other commenters have said, please do start from the very beginning, with their EPs "One" and "Two", then the albums sequentially, ("Sundowning", "This Place Will Become Your Tomb" and "Take Me Back To Eden" in this order). They have also made a few cover versions that you may want to look at as well as well as a couple of stand alone tracks, but it's up to you if you want to listen to those as well. In my own opinion they're all worth it, but then I'm very biased because they haven't created a duff track yet to my ears. Enjoy your journey, don't forget to take snacks for along the way.

You're going to love this band. The piano, drums, guitar, synth, bass,... The little cluttering of plates and cuttlery in the background during the piano solo, the panning in the background,... Many, many songs by ST have a whole lot to find out and decipher. If you're up for the whole journey I'd appreciate to go from the very beginning in chronological order both EP's, singles and all three albums. Oh and the studio versions are mainly played by Vessel(all except drums), II recording drums

I'm sure this was said but the album is a trilogy and its a linked story that is ended with euclid on the latest album. Go back to sundowning and start with The Night Does Not Belong to God would be my recommendation.

Love love love these guys! I know I started watching you from BTS because they are my ultimate when it comes to lyrics (yes deep meaningful lyrics from kpop does exist lol) but man Sleep Token is up there for me. In my Spotify wrapped for 2024 I had BTS #1 then all 7 members 2-8 and then XG was 9 and my 10 was Sleep Token. Kpop and Metal is my life LOL 😆 one of my fav Sleep Token songs is Atlantic.
