Ok, so... : 0:18 "Just run it back, give me five whole minutes" the song lengh is 5:18 1:55 "And do you still believe That nothing else matters" reference to Blood Sport 1:50 & 3:18 "You say it doesn't matter" "These ancient canopies" well... you know. 2:41 "The night belongs to you" is a reference to The Night Does Not Belong To God 2:48 "This bough is broken through" is a reference to the song When The Bough Breaks And then the end that is a call back from their song The Night Does Not Belong To God. The album ends the same way their first album Sundowning starts, and put an end to that beautiful trilogy. My theory is that the word Euclid can also mean "A copy of the same". Vessel has travelled, lived, felt, and experienced, he changed ("I must be someone new") but even if this cycle is exponentially infinite, no matter what he does or tries to do he'll always be what he was. He'll reach his starting point and do everything again. We loved to see your journey through this long story, this intense and emotional journey. We love you man ❤

Appreciate this, friend. I'm sure most have also realised, Euclid space telescope has been in the news recently - But, of course, Euclid was a historical mathematician, philosopher, and mystic. I went to their concert in may. I didn't look up any of the previous footage of other concerts or what they were gonna play because I wanted it to be a surprise. Let me tell you I sobbed. They opened with The Night Does Not Belong to God and finished with Euclid! The first time they've played it live was on the Teeth of God Tour and I was so happy to have witnessed it. It was the perfect set honestly.
@Potato_Bug6 ай бұрын
I was at their Phoenix show, and being the first night of the tour, there was no spoilers for the setlist… I went in assuming they would open with The Offering (because they had been opening most of their shows the year prior with the song) so when they opened with The Night Does Not Belong To God it took me a second to register, but as soon as I realized what song it was, I burst into tears because I knew it was very likely they would end with Euclid. I was so emotionally destroyed by the end of the show but in the best way.

And this is why ST fans chant or just respond to things with WORSHIP! It's been a joy to accompany you through the albums--thank you for including all of us and sharing your reactions. I've said it before but its been great to vicariously experience all of this again. Euclid is such a final masterful stroke to a phenomenal album and journey. It is so many things at once that another entire video could be made just discussing the references and feelings. The things Vessel clearly wanted to have circled back to and communicated with the end of the trilogy. You didn't get to say much with this reaction but the emotion and just being lost in the music is what its all about--it says a lot more sometimes :P The way this song circles around back to Sundowning just strikes me like the Ouroboros infinitely eating its own tail. On my first listen I immediately just restarted the album (TMBTE) and listened to it again. Vessel and Co. have changed what I thought was possible with music and have impacted so much in such a short time for me. I'll forever be grateful for the experience. Another BDB, another like!

Your reaction triggered my weepy snot-button too and it was hard to see my knitting, but it is what it is and it's all part of our very human experience. Having Sleep Token make this music that we can all collectively have a good old sob to, even though we know that this is probably what's going to happen even before the first note of the track has played, is something special in itself because it shows us that our emotions/feelings are valid especially when we have that specific locus. But it's not driven by sadness now, you can hear and feel the hope in all your body. It makes me want to cry, because endings are never easy, but smile because of the hope in the future. This was a hard-won pilgrimage. ST changes people on levels that are quite like spiritual experiences. Wait until you hear Hallelujah... It shatters me to hear him choke up while singing. Another great, emotionally charged album is Whitechapel's The Valley. Phil brings you through his life story with tragic detail. He is known for his harsh, explosive vocals but he has the most amazing cleans; utterly beautiful and gutting. He uses his harsh vocals to convey certain emotions. The following album is a continuation with a lot more anger and visceral pain which makes it heavier by nature. The songs I recommend that don't hold too many harsh vocals are: Bring Me Home (a song to his father and dealing with the loss of him, plus it's arguably the most emotionally devastating song), When a Demon Defiles a Witch (a song talking about his mother's descent into schizophrenia and drug addiction), Hickory Creek (another about losing his mother to her mental illness and addiction and there is a beautiful acoustic version.), Third Depth (my favorite).

A long day after work, having a drink or two, tomorrow's Saturday, and now I see this video. Could life get any better? Quintessential. That's the sparsely used English word that comes to mind when hearing this song. This song is the quintessential example of what a song should make you feel. It's the wrap-up of of journey that took years and is the perfect example of how an end to an era should sound and feel like. They twist you, turn you, break you, calm you, stress you, make you cry, make you frustrated, make you angry, make you nostalgic... and then build you back up in five whole minutes. Euclid leaves you with emotions that you'll never forget, emotions that make you think you've just been through a lifetime of good and bad with someone only to end it on a nostalgic but positive note. I must be someone new. And you're reborn again. If this song doesn't make you want to get an ST tattoo right where your heart is, I don't know what could! An absolute masterpiece of an album trilogy that has made my life different in many, many ways. I'm thankful to be alive while this is happening. Much love, all you readers. EDIT: Subbed to the Patreon to help you upkeep that steady stream of toilet paper rolls. 😂❤

What an emotional journey this has been. Your reactions have mirrored the reactions I had on my first listen to Sleep Token songs. I have been listening to Sleep Token since I first discovered them back in 2018. Yet when I first heard the album TMBTE in full, I got emotional during Ascensionism, barely kept it together on Are You Really OK, and then I got to Euclid. To say I balled my eyes out would be an understatement. Even though, musically, it sounds the most uplifting song on the album, if a little melancholic at the same time. The feeling of like a final song in a movie as the credits roll coupled with all the callbacks and confirmation of Vessel's identity and then the insertion of the bridge from TNDNBTG at the end just broke me! Thanks for sharing this amazing journey and looking forward to continuing watching your other future reactions. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

This seems to be a very common sentiment. I am glad that I was able to bring you all back to you first listen of Sleep Token in some way or another. Thank you for coming along for the ride Brian! 🤘

I really enjoyed your reactions. Sleep token is somewhat new to me also. I first heard alkaline and remember thinking "those are cool lyrics". This is the best album I've heard. I absolutely love it and I'm so thankful I found them. I think you have to have some deep scars on the inside to like them as much as I do. Keep up the good work my friend and we'll keep watching and liking 👍🏻

Thank you for your honesty and for sharing all of this with us. I can't tell how often I cried with you and other reactors when listening to Sleep Tokens music again and again and it is so incredibly cathartic. They disarm you completely, they set free every single emotion and that's what makes them so unique. I watch your videos and I can relate so much. Your tears start running, so do mine. They make you cry and smile at the same time. This band has the ability to make you not feel sorry for showing emotions. I will see them live in Berlin in December and I can't wait. All the best from over here, from the city that never sleeps.

It is said this was the end of a trilogy... people are worried there won't be more after this album....but I watched a theory from someone on tiktok on how Euclid ends...shows it isn't the end...the final notes sang coinside with the prior albums showing there's more to come....which I'm hoping is true....this band is on a completely different level than any band out there currently... musically, lyrically....hands down should get the album of the year award across the board for any and every way possible

Now that they have done Euclid live, you should do a live video. I was there on the debut, and the entire theater cried alongside vessel 😭😭

Ive been silently watching as you have moved through this journey over the last 2 months, and i just wanted to say that I truly appreciate and admire the sincerity that you've maintained throughout. It's bittersweet that the daily journey is over, but like you said, there's still more out there, and there are a bunch of different fan groups on social media. I definitely recommend finding your way to those, everyone is always so welcoming and nice.
