Imagine those of us on September 3, 1984 who put this on the turntable and sat back to hear what the new album had in store. First song on the album, on the heels of Piece of Mind the year before, and Number of the Beast the year before that. And then this smacks you right in the face. Awesome times.

I miss the time. The album cover in hand, the record freshly placed on the turntable. With the lyrics at hand, the needle found its way into the groove. A gentle crackle and it started. I still get goosebumps now. 🙂

Dude they are the greatest band of all time in my opinion. They energize me like no other. I could list 25 bangers off the top of my head. The first 7 albums are perfect man, peerrrfect!

Great reaction!!! Iron Maiden are currently touring and just recently announced a new tour for 2025 and 2026. It's my favorite band by far!!! So many great songs its hard to describe. The Latino audience's from Brazil, Chile and Argentina are all fun to watch. Live Maiden or some music videos are hard to beat. Try live Paschendale and Rime of the Ancient Mariner!! Enjoy and Up the Irons!!
