I've done something similar. Soaked em in a Alabama white sauce for a bit and used it as a binder for some white pepper garlic parm wings

Tried this on my pellet smoker tonight. Came out phenomenal! When I was getting the grill ready and putting foil on my drip pan I forgot to put my grill grates back on. Cooked them directly on the foiled drip pan and they cooked so crispy in about 45 mins. Thanks for the share! This is my new go to method- minus my creative mess up which totally turned out just fine!😅
