Lima has famously terrible weather except for summer, Dec-March or so. Really nice then. Hopefully, you'll be able to travel. Lots of places to see in Peru.

It's not a bad house at all. Anyway, if you go to Totus and/or Plazavea you can get all the american delicious junkfood --- they got all them goodies like frozen pizza(or you could go to Papa John's), burghers (or you could go to Mcdonald's), hot dogs, breaded chicken patties , frozen french fries , Budweiser and of course Oreos, etc...etc... etc... Anyway, Peru rocks and their local Peruvian menu rocks too!!!!

Im Peruvian, born and raised in lima... its a city that can be anything you want to. I would recommend not being afraid but its true its not the safest place. Finding cultural places may be hard at first but there are many. Museums like MAC and MALI are nice, you can look up the Yuyachkani group,

They sure stay in a bigger house! I don't think that was big enough for 16 people, and no complaints. About the toilette paper; here in Oklahoma where I live there's a lot of places you have to put it in the trash. I don't know what's the big deal.
