In the past week I bought a Husky FS/2 ruggedized, handheld data logger from eBay for $25 plus shipping. It is a metal bodied IBM PC/XT compatible with a 8 MHz 80186 compatible NEC V30 processor, 3 MB of RAM, and 1 MB of flash ROM. It also has a 240x64 40x8 backlit LCD and two RS-232 DB-9 male serial ports on top. It runs for 40 hours on just three AA batteries. I plan to use this as a portable data logger and portable HP 41 emulator thanks to DOS HP 41 emulator applications. Stay tuned for more exploration of this device in future videos.
