I totally agree! Alana is so beautiful and has a certain je nes sais quois that I think would change if she changed her nose. She might look too uncanny valley if you know what I mean. Of course, people should do what makes them feel best! I totally support that but Alana you are SO beautiful!

Random one but in terms of loose powders that aren’t “too much” the Elf Halo Glow setting powder is incredible ✨ It doesn’t have any glitter in it or anything like that( the name gets everyone confused, it almost fooled me!), it sets everything really nicely without making your face look cakey or making it look dry , it’s fab and I’d highly recommend it 👌🏻

I think the new L’Oréal Lumi le glass cream highlighter in shade 610 glassy pearl eclat is a very close cheaper alternative to the VB highlighter. It’s stunning too❤

Isn't it amazing how Katie Jane Hughes seeps into our makeup consciousness. I finally bought endless cacao after years of watching her use it. I also love Weleda Skinfood that she recommended for a long time. I'm also with you about the blush matching your lips, they are the kinds of shades I like too. Please swatch Lisa Eldridge's Sculpt and Shade lip liners when you're next in London. My old Nyx Nude Beige (which I've had since before you started using it, so it's definitely the original shade) sits right between LE's Neutral 0 and Neutral 1, so neither is identical but both are VERY close to OG Nude Beige

I often use concealer to contour my nose. I’ll put a good amount on the side of my nose and stop where you would normally put the contour color. When you have dips in your nose it has shadow and darkness there and to counteract that, using a concealer will help shape it rather then a dark color. The color of the foundation will be dark enough to create that illusion of darkened you’d be looking for in a bronzing shade without it being too intense. There’s a few makeup shorts with ladies that do it, look some up and try it out!

The Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base is my go to for under makeup. The do not have super dry skin so I find it is perfectly moisturizing for me and gives me the perfect canvas for makeup application

On a daily basis, instead of a glowy primer, I just put a drop of highlighter on my moisturizer and on top, a tinted sunscreen, really quick and easy! (if you want to try, test this on a regular day, sometimes products don't mix that well and might peel off)

A tip for nose contour that I found works best for me is to only apply the contour product on the “bulbous or bulging” area and nowhere else. Not that there’s anything wrong with your nose, I actually find roman nose types so beautiful!!!

Do you have more recommendations for concealer? I too have extreme dry skin, and my undereyes never look quite right. I tried the corrector from Charlotte Tilbury with other concealers but nothing really works. Tower28 is not so easy to get in NL so any more suggestions? 🫶

I had nose surgery: A sinus portion to widen my narrow passages for better drainage. And a rhinoplasty to correct my (EXTREMELY) deviated septum from where my brother kicked me in the face. It was horrible. And it didn’t go well and I had to have corrections done to my nostrils while in the office sans anesthetic. I probably wouldn’t do it again.
