I have this exact saw and I am researching how to align the blade to the the table. Have you done that with your saw? If so please share.

hey mark, i reached out to Jet customer service and they gave me some technical advice on it. Essentially you have to loosen the trunnion bolts, move it a smidge with a smack of a mallet on a piece of wood, then tighten, then re-measure. Mine got out of square and now it's back to nearly perfect (within a few thousandths of an inch).

Hello! I have the same saw but my blade elevator wheel is stuck are hardly moves. Have you ever had to lubricate or clean up the gears underneath? I’m struggling on cleaning it....any tips?

I only had to set clearance on up and down gears. The one shaft is a cam. See if it's binding. Mine was not contacting enough. Good luck.

I have a similar saw that came out of a barn and was almost seized up. I got underneath with a can of PB Blaster and let it sit overnight. Once it loosened up I turned it back and forth spraying more as I turned. Good luck.

​@@JoshuaShepherd I had to actually disassembly the worm drive rod that raises the blade. Had lots of burs / gunk on it. Stuck it on my drill, spun it while rubbing it with sandpaper to smooth it out, added some grease...and bum, that was it.

Nice saw, is it replacing one of the others or an addition? You should break out one of the Shopsmiths and do so stuff with it. Just a suggestion. Anyway keep them coming.

Thank You. I have not decided how and where I will use this saw yet, but i am excited to find out. As far as the Shop Smiths go, I have been wanting to do a video on them. Sterling Davis also suggested this. Doug Reed already has several videos on the Shop Smith. Thanks for the view and comment.
